Was picking a b’day gift this year and just looking around … had my mind made up I was spending a certain amount and while looking at well known resellers ( what goes around comes around and the like ) I came across a fake LV and reported it to the manager . I had to point out the flaws and why it was fake because it was pretty good for a fake . I ended up going YSL and picking a bag that time because it made me nervous but I have purchased from resellers .. I just do my research before buying . I never leave comments but I very much want to say a word. Recently I’ve been to one foreign country and I saw dupes of VCA and Cartier. I have to say that they were very very well done. I own these pieces so I paid attention to the details and I was very surprised. For myself I made a decision to buy only at the boutique because you never know what you are getting on the second hand market. The people who authenticate might have hard time catching these “super fakes”. So unless you buy in the boutique, there always be a chance you’ve got something very well made, almost exactly made as original piece, especially with the pieces that are popularized so much these days.

A sincere apology for your misrepresentation would have been just a really normal response. Learning it's all smoke and mirrors with social media really helps. Everything looks great except for the weight (only 8g). It is 7.5 inches so i dont understand why it could be so light! I watched dozens of videos and i am 95%sure it is geniune. So if you could show us everything that the bracelete came with that would be great❤

As I’ve learned, the presence of “original packaging with original receipts” and “certificates of authenticity” are absolutely meaningless. Sometimes replicas are sold deliberately; other times, seasoned authenticators are duped. It’s one thing to knowingly purchase a replica (priced far below retail), but it seems her husband may have been duped and was likely overcharged. Full disclosure: I’ve seen high quality 18kt replicas in Dubai and Hong Kong, and those guilloche bracelets look authentic. Sadly, her bracelet does not appear genuine, so I would inform the seller and seek some form of redress (return for refund, or partial refund for difference in value). Best of luck to @stylehard, and I still adore your content, so please continue to create.

I'm commenting that sometimes it's hard to talk directly to the original influencer (DMs messages are not seen or replied to). A few years ago based on your recommendations I purchased a Teddy coat from a brand you showed and shared multiple times. When I received it, the coat was total garbage. I paid around $800 with duties and taxes and had DMd you on IG and messaged on YT a few times to see if we could compare the item. Unfortunately I lost money. Sometimes ppl do want to do the right thing or do reach out to creators but don't always get the conversation going. Just food for thought.

I went to a local jewelry store and I got a dupe, it looks like the van cleef one but is 21k , I know is not the real one and I know it looks different from the real one because the gold is 21k . Honestly, I don’t care what people think , I can’t spend that much money for the van cleef and I bought the gold one that was fraction of the price. I think people should mind their business and not judge others.

No need to make this video. Even if your bracelet was a fake (which I don't think it is) I don't believe you knew it was a fake and portrayed it as real. Sometimes especially with resale you end up with a fake and it TOTALLY sucks!!! Sometimes it's just a very expensive lesson.
