I think that on early skeletor figures the back of the boots weren’t painted so this guy was lucky but it’s a thought ?

Yeah, it's the rare half boot where they only painted the front of the boot so they could add more paint details to his face. They sell high at conventions, but on eBay the sold auctions aren't always for as much as you would expect.
