You mentioned living in Hiroshima and attending Funairi High School in a previous video as well as this one and it surprised me (in a good way!) My High School in France also had (and still has?) a partnership with Funairi ! (though you didn't mention France as one of the countries you visited, so I guess you didn't take French there) Really happy to hear you had a good time in Funairi; we had the pleasure to meet some students from there, and they were all so fun and kind! Anyway thank you for your hard work and general wholesomeness!! Your videos always bring a smile to my face :))
To be honest, I really like your english. I'm a New Yorker and it's pretty refreshing/calming to hear you talk.

Thank you for sharing about your experience and your family and congratulations on 100,000 subscribers. I'm sorry you went through that financial hardship, but it sounds like you worked hard and turned it around. Ganbatte kudasai! I appreciate your unbiased look at Japan and Japanese culture. America has far more than it needs at the moment. My initial kendo/iaido sensei was very old school Japanese even though he lives in the US, which included some of the negative cultural aspects you mentioned. So, we parted ways and I've moved to a new dojo where the sensei is both good and kind. I think you have a very noble outlook and goal and I wish you the best of luck.

Shogo-san I like your educated and non-biased way to introduce the Japanese culture. Some "you tubers" just care about the amount of viewers naming their videos like "why Japan sxxcxs" or things like that, that is extremly rude and makes no sense to me. Thank you for your introduction and for making these videos! By the way, I'm a huge fan of Kabuki theater. My biggest dream is return to Japan as soon as possible to watch Kabuki again. It breaks my heart that the borders are closed.

I can appreciate that you want to preserve the culture, while at the same time improving Japan as a whole, that is a truly noble goal. On the subject of creating a better environment, could you do a video on the whaling and over fishing of tuna?
