Just think about the guys digging red mud on the US-64 project around Asheboro, loading 740 and 777 Cats and solid rock down about 5 ft and you have to dig out 15 ft. Blast and dig, blast and dig. Then it rains for 2 days and ya can't work. Of course the good diggers get paid well. Good video!
@laszlovass73265 жыл бұрын
Can you make a video explaining the business conversation side of this job being restarted. Seems you already had the HOA increase the haul amounts while there multiple times, which is ok, but then you took out the haul road and had it ready for hydro seeding and moved to another part of the lake. I mean like a summary video as this job stretched out with rain and all, and the difficulties that were unexpected or added costs without extra pay. Would be interesting to hear a bit of shop talk on it, without putting anyone down or offending. Thank you

@watchthe13695 жыл бұрын
I sometimes wonder if there is a way to dig that so the silt would clear itself? I guess it is all about the water slowing down as you enter the lake and the silt dropping into the inlet. I just wonder if it would be possible to create a channel that would naturally push it along in the bottom.

When are you going back to that big ace pond where you cleared so much?
@super69545 жыл бұрын
I think from comments about how much rain they had the pond probably built it's self when the place flooded, If it didn't it will take a while to dry up. weather is their big problem either way on that job like it has been with this one. Many of us have been getting bad weather in North America. At the moment thats not helping with jobs, my issue here in Canada nows winter with snow, winds and frost now it's quit raining after the summer, I can get there to work now but it's like concrete trying to work dirt that was soft 2 months ago .
