That thing looks easy to operate. I bet anybody could operate it.

Jason Shipley No not that easy
@JasonShipley19796 жыл бұрын
Mighty Moe Excavating what and how much is involved in operating one?
@mightymoeexcavating7546 жыл бұрын
Jason Shipley alot of seat time,l taught at a training facility 1 out of 20 student's might qualify, it is hard to find experienced operators these days. Spending $20000 dollars in training does not get you a job!
@JasonShipley19796 жыл бұрын
Mighty Moe Excavating it seems to me like it isn’t worth spending that much for training if it doesn’t get a person a job being 1 out of 20.

A good operator will always make it look easy. I've been an operator since I was a kid and I've watched many of Chris' videos and can tell that he's a great operator. A lot of his videos show him moving large amounts of dirt. If you watch some where he has to cut grade and use a laser or something, he's still good. Cutting grade is hard to do but it's pretty easy if you're used to it.

I ran a 210 last year. It was a nice smooth machine. Only thing i hated was you had to turn it off using a rocker switch else it would started beeping and saying wrong shutdown or something. Lol
@ingelalf6 жыл бұрын
vy are you running all machins with so small buckets?
@letsdig186 жыл бұрын
its a 48" bucket
@Foleyathome6 жыл бұрын
I think the case could handle a bigger bucket, considering your filling that bucket with ease and reckon she would still be well balanced which would utilise her power, speed and stability. Less cycles for same material moved equals less wear over the machines lifetime which translates to more $ in you pocket. Just my 2 cents worth.

I had a 345 for several years that was great for loading and pulling stumps. I wound up replacing it with a 30 ton machine because it was just too big to easily move around and made a world of a mess if the ground was soft. Plus changing buckets was pretty much out of the question, and it had no thumb. But it was a beast. I have pictures of putting in two 89' rail flatcars across a bayou. That's the only machine I've ever had that would break a 1/2 inch chain.
