It might help to purge the fuel tank every now and then, that might help with your flame out situation. It might just have some air inside the tank.

From my understanding Weller only makes the following tips for this iron. Weller Single Flat Tip 0.8mm: amzn.to/3WS4PvI Weller Double Flat Tip 2.4mm: amzn.to/3XMTWN4 Weller Single Flat Tip 2.4mm: amzn.to/3Rdpklr

Along with those 3 types/sizes (.8mm angle, 2.4mm angle, 2.4mm chisel tips). They have recently came out with some tips not for soldering but other activities... PPT9 hot air tip, PPT10 hot knife tip, PPT11 hot air deflector for heat shrink tubing, PPT12 flame tip. Seems though currently you can only get these tips as a kit with the iron, I don't see them sold individually anywhere: amzn.to/3KNrWEY

I had this soldering iron, but I wasn't too happy with it, the construction itself and the flame regulation is good. The heating heads are of catastrophically poor quality, they are difficult to get and they are also expensive, 1/3 the price of a new soldering iron. The heating head begins to melt after the first use of the cartridge. I replaced two soldering devices under warranty until I requested a refund money.

@@bokiminor5089 That's a bummer you had a bad experience with it. I've gone through 4 fill ups no issues yet. Agreed the tips are expensive, Its not a simple piece of metal though there is a catalyst in side that the flame heats which in turn heats up the steel tip. I've heard of the same issue with tips melting on other brands maybe its an issue with butane in general or the flux being used??
