@BeeJayDeL I bought your brushes from gum board, but the pencil doesn’t act as yours does in past videos. Are the settings different from what is in the packages to what you are using in the videos? I’ve searched through comments and saw you mentioned settings in a Facebook group, but I don’t have a Facebook account. Any help or tips would be appreciated! Just wanted to add, I love your videos. Last night was the first time I drew something that actually looked good. Thank you so much for all of your videos. Definitely subscribed and going through older videos. The brush I was referencing is used in your cartooning #1 video. The face straight on.

That wasn’t the same pencil I used in those videos. I wasn’t happy with that pencil because it didn’t act like a true “HB” pencil. The current set that you bought is what I currently use after working on them for the past year (all settings are the same) and are just like their real-life counterparts.

@@BeeJayDeL Thank you for letting me know. I was going crazy last night trying to figure out what I was doing wrong haha! I bought the Procreate pencils and cartooning brushes. If I recall correctly, I should be using the HB brush without streamline for my rough sketch correct? I love the way you teach by the way. My wife wants me to draw her tonight since my first drawing actually looks good and like our son. 😁
