The Letshouer Galileo is currently my favorite IEM under 200 dollars. It's one of the few IEMs that doesn't require EQ for my playlist. It has a great tune for Contemporary Jazz, Trance, and Metallic Rock. People who are into EDM or Rap may want to add a bit of an EQ bump below 300 Hz. The IEMs do handle EQ well and I think this set is a good candidate for EQing to other IEMs for testing purposes, if you're into that sort of thing.

Favourite bass in my opinion (the ones i've tried so far) around this price point is actually the letshuoer d13. Perfect bass. Controled, textured, detailed, perfectly in between dry and full.

Listened to Hexa for one week, sold after 15 minutes with S12Pro. Listened to S12Pro for two weeks, got Galileo and now thinking about to sell S12Pro and btr5 just because Galileo + cheap dongle-dac is more than enough for me to truly enjoy the music. Love its look, cable and of course sound. Fit was a bit better with Hexa, but it should be fixed with some new eartips.

​@@febriantoian7213 S12pro attacks harm vocals, "p" and "s" sounds unnatural, plus overall presentation is so fast and dynamic that the music sounds like 1.5 times faster. The naturalness of Galileo perfectly complements the genres I listen to.

@@lukakapanadze6179 I have dunu dtc50 which was bundled to Galileo. Not very powerful - just 3-4 clicks less than 3.5 out of my phone.

New sub here, this review caught my eye and wanted to thank you for doing it. These were actually my very first IEM's that I bought to get into this hobby and I was glad that I did. I have been listening to my S12's for a while now, which is my current reference set, but after seeing this review I think I will switch out to Timmy's set to enjoy some weekend music and gaming. Keep up the good work!

Galileo with a tad more bass and air would be one of the best

I've really had trouble to make it fit and stay in my ears. I've tried several ear tips. Whizzer ET100 are good. S&S Dunu are really good but some Latex ones were the best of the three. Too bad they all are so expensive. So I found a pair of 20¢ ones and turned them inside out. I have never tried any ear tips better than these. Perfect seal. The iems is kind of suspended and free moving and creates another impact than any other tips do. They are so amazing so that I've stuck them on all my iems. It's like a new world. Reviewers have to do all their sound impression reviews all over again with tips like that. The bass improves a lot. Stage, voices and details are just so much clearer and wide. It's a must to try. Not all tips are equally good to turn inside out though. The ones I like best have a fairly stiff stem and soft outer with a surface that sticks to your skin. Good luck!

I had same issues. Tried a lot of tips too. But now I'm using the JVC spiral dots Plus plus I think it's the perfect match for my ears.

Ditto on the 6mm limit. Hexa is 6.5mm and my ears get sore after an hour. Not many reviews mention nozzle diameter.

It’s already been addressed but here’s my take of the Galileo’s stage (I have no idea about Hexa btw): I’d be more than happy with the Galileo as an only IEM. It has a VERY open stage and lots of space. I obviously think my 64a Nio is worth the extra $$$$ but the Galileo does beat it for how much reflections/room/space jumps out. Noticeably so. The center image, though, is hazy/fuzzy/seems very substanceless whereas the rest of the stage is very sharp/concrete, almost like you could reach out and touch it. I’m not sure if the center of stage is really that “bad” (bad isn’t the right word) or if it’s just in contrast but I suspect one’s brain would stop noticing fairly quickly. But it’s the most open sounding in ear I’ve heard. Even if imaging isn’t as good/uniform as my Nio and MEST MKII. For sense of space,… the Galileo is noticeably more open. If it weren’t for the center image I’d use it over my more expensive IEMs just for that. At least use it as much. Even though literally everything about the other two is a lot better.
