I agree with you totally about it takes time and effort to learn something. It is the same with horses. I have helped several people deal with their fear of horses. One of the main things is to be gentle with yourself and give yourself a break. If you know someone with a gentle horses who is willing to help you they can give the horse the security so it doesn’t only pick up on your fear. The trust it’s person has can give you both a bridge to help you overcome your fear.

I FINALLY DID IT! I have been so scared to even try this one I waited a year before I gave it a go... and I have to say, I kinda like the result! THANK YOU, Sarah, Taylor, and Keenan for a fun morning learning all about using watercolor paint and pencils together to create such a realistic horse. (BTW, Keenan, people do, on purpose, do the sorts of haircuts you mention to their horses - it's called "banging." They also "roach" the mane itself, which, as it grows out, stands straight up and in all cases, in my opinion, is pretty ugly. LOL) Now, to try this again, but painting my gelding (in my profile picture here) - lots of "chrome" (aka white) with spots all over... but maybe I'll wait another year before trying that. LOL THANK YOU and God bless!

They can bite, and hard. Just look at horses in a herd: there's often one with a bite - usually on the neck - that requires stitches. I've been bitten on the arm twice. Best not to make assumptions with animals this large. :)
@SomeonesMom32 жыл бұрын
@@Bearwithme560 I was actually not making an assumption. I own a horse and was referring to the fact that it is not as easy for a horse to bite you on the hand if you hold it out flat to them. It is definitely important to be careful around them, though!

For Keenan plus i got curious too. 🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅🌅 The watercolor pencil was invented in the 1940's. It is the first water soluble pencil that can be used as a regular color pencil to color in a drawing or as a watercolor pencil with the use of a paint brush and water to give a painted effect to a drawing.
