I've seen that happen quite a few times, but the character is usually standing, and if they are being launched up, at the peak they lose the pose and fall regularly. I think it's associated to the whether the game thinks they are falling or not.

That pose is the default "lying down" pose, and it serves a similar function to the "T pose", serving as a modeling reference. GTA IV has it, too, and so do Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2. I'm guessing the development team were proud of it.

@@fretfultrout2788 Trust me, they're never too young. I was playing Pokemon and I left my DS on the table to get a drink. My baby cousin, who was just under a year old at the time (he's now 10) and just barely walking, was able to walk into some grass, encounter a Pokemon (a Starly), open the bag, throw a Pokeball and catch it, with a little finagling I'm sure. I walked in as the catch occurred. It was one of those moments that he'll never remember, but I always will. I even kept the Starly and traded it to him years later when he got into Pokemon.

Tells you how long ago that was... didn't have anyone to paly with, got boring being on my own, and being kicked out, or left alone, in lobbies despite telling the people there I'm willing to cooperate, since they were looking for another to fill said spot.

Was anyone here that kid who played with cars and whenever you lifted them up in the air the toy car was flying or performing jumps. GTA is literally making those times we played as kids a video game reality. It still has the real-life cautions and consequences that some of us never thought about, but it's still amazing and a dream come true that we don't get physically harmed for doing.
