Ryan was an excellent replacement for Jack. Nothing personal against Jack, but in 1(or 2, I dont remember exactly) levels he got 75 deaths, which is exactly a quarter of Gavin's deaths through out the whole series. (Gavin had the most deaths) I don't think this would have been possible if they didn't switch Jack out for Ryan...

I seriously loved this entire series. It was so frickin amazing to see all you guys(main cast and subs) play through a game you all love and are passionate about in the hardest ways possible and have a blast while doing it. I took myself and 3 buddies 6 HOURS ON A SCHOOL NIGHT to do this back when we cared too much about acheivements. We started at like 6 or 7pm thinking we were skilled enough it would only take a few tries. Boy were we wrong. So awesome though.

Oh and PLEEEEAAAAASE!!!! Do all the LASOs. This series was by far the best thing you guys did in a while. Just remember ... memory is the key ... no, just kidding. Tilt makes bullets strong against armor and plasma strong against shields. Human/brute weapons are not worthless. You just need to use them at the right time.

it is actually much more likely for the planet in the legendary ending to be Reach. I once saw a video pointing that way. The nebula and the the circular landmarks are pretty good indicators that anybody who played Halo:Reachwould know from the intro and several other scenes. The guy who made it supported the theory with something you can see in the outro video of Reach where Dr. Halsey is speaking. While the scene shows Noble 6 Helmet embedded in the recently glassed surface, the background is barren and empty. when the scene changes to show Reach being repopulated in the future (After the ending of Halo 3) the rear half of a crashlanded Frigate rests in the background. Of course, many frigates and other war ships were destroyed during the battle of Reach, but the rather clean cut through this particular part of the ship is a nice hint. Further more, Bungie (especially its former lead writer Joseph Staten) always avoided to take the game into the anti-forerunner and Master Chief-Cortana-romance direction that 343i went. It seems highly unlikely to me for them to create a hint pointing towards a (in my mind heretic series of rip-offs) series of games that would be released only after the two games that were part of their deal with Microsoft to buy Bungies freedom. You know... that is a pretty far stretch. Did the idea off the games 343i would be making exist back then? Even if it did, I don't think it would have been developed enough for a clear concept of the location. Microsoft could have released those games much earlier, otherwise. That's just speculation, though. Still, I like the idea of Master Chief living a quiet hermits life in the shadow of the wreck. His helmet and Cortanas burned out chip would rest on a small monument that he built from scrap to honour his fallen Spartan comrads. He gave everything for mankind and the other sentient races of the milky way. The man deserved some well earned peace. Not what 343i did to him.

I gotta say my one gripe with this series is that they skip the cutscenes. If they watched them all through it would be like an actual journey with our fav achievement hunters instead of just soulless separate missions It’d be like storytime and fun with AH Other than that the series is fantastic
