This is why uni-vibe is one of my favourite effects. Overall badass song.

Agreed Gabor! I've been getting more into modulation effects lately and Univibe gives such a lush tone!

By the way, this song is full playable in E standard, cause 4th fret on guitar tuned to C standard is E. QOTSA did that live sometimes during last few tours, since their new albums have more songs in E. Good lesson though!

Thanks mate! Yea for sure, mentioned that at the beginning, way easier than the tuning faff tbh but I tend to teach them in the original tunings 😀🤘

Oh I didn't know Troy played lead on this song, I thought Josh usually played lead. Thanks for the lesson! I've been using your QOTSA lessons a bunch, yours are way more thorough than any others I've found and always sound so accurate. Cheers! Edit: I actually don't even think Troy was on this album at all come to think of it (though I think he toured for it, he wasn't involved in recording), hard to keep track with all the lineup changes lol

Oh man you’re right haha, every live version I looked at had him on it haha I’ll have to double check next time then, funny thing was I read an interview where he said he used Vibe for the me lead tone too, which helped anyway! 😀🤘

That Drop pedal is a game changer. I'm not a fan of trying to tune down to C, and I'm not buying another guitar strictly for dropped tunings. *Edit* I just found the price of this pedal. I could buy a cheap guitar strictly for drop tuning for that price. 😳😆
