Yeah, it makes little sense. Also, it makes little sense to me that the author asks people for feedback but is giving mixed signals regarding skeptic replies. I think the main mysterious and scary thing in that story is how the author's mind works 😛

To the crime scene clean up guy: I believe your story. Not knowing the circumstances of the suicide, the guy was more than likely in a highly emotional/agitated state at the time of death. Once his soul disincorporated, the raw emotions kept him there & as a final exertion of control, he ordered you to clean up his mess. He may have been angry that no tried to stop him from committing suicide or he may have regretted the act.

Omg I was a maid for years. Some homes just don't even feel right the moment you walk in and I don't even think ghosts are real. But some houses I have been in scared me for no reason. I also think I cleaned up after a guy killed his ex. It was so creepy we left so fast and our office laughed at us.

Story 3 (violence against hotel staff on the rise) reminds me of The Delta bessborough ghost of an employee. He was thrown from the railing of some stairs very high up maybe 7-9 stories high. He left a crack in the marble at the base of the stairs after responding to a noise complaint. This is a real story and this ghost is accompanied by others in the same hotel.

Didnt the first story seem fake?! I mean any mother who heard their daughters voice sounding terrified would have immediatelt rushed to their aid. No mom worth their salt would hide while not knowing their kids safe. Apparently cops show up within 3 seconds of the call?!! Like WTF?

I agree with you. The thing that i felt was off was tht the narrator seemed to have a good relationship with her mom, and she praised her for hiding and then calling the cops, instead of coming tl her rescue. But i get tht there are terrible mothers out there, they dnt deserve the gift of motherhood.

If the sad fate of Paulette, the Armstrongs' maid in Christie's Murder on the Orient Express, proves anything, maids see and deal with many insidious secrets more often than people would think. The reason they are surprising? A lot of them are too scared to come forward with their testimonies.

The scariest thing that happened to me while cleaning were looking at their house designs jk jk but we are required to vacuum all closets. I head to this families small daughters closet and opened it up. Inside was a punching dummy dressed as a man. I was terrified and punched it and stepped back. After the adrenaline surpassed I looked at it again and laughed my ass off but then questioned why their small daughter had this in their closet 🧐 other than that I have cleaned many older houses and have heard many strange voices when no one was home.

I worked in a hotel and got a really creepy vibe from one of the tenants (we offered monthly stays) he would watch us closely as we cleaned kinda leered at us with his hand always in his pocket . I mentioned it to my manager and told her there should be two workers sent to that room from now on. It worked for a bit, we worked in pairs. I called in sick one day..... a new girl did the room alone and the guy raped her. Many of us quite when we found out.

Yup I beleive it. I got a text message from my aunt 3 days after she passed away. The text seemed weird in that it was all lower case (even though phones will auto correct for you) and when I clicked to open it up and finish reading it, it totally disappeared. The main gist of the message was "I love you...tell your mom and dad I love them too." I asked everyone I knew if they could have sent me that message and everyone sincerely said no.

One day, while walking my dogs, I was thinking of the 2 children I had lost, and my little dog that had also passed. I said a little prayer. If there is truly another side, when I turn this corner, there will be a feather from each of u. As I turned the grassy corner, to my utter astonishment, there were 3 feathers laying on the grass. Not only that 2 of them were joined together on one quill, one smaller than the other. My 2 boys, and my little dog. I never doubted again, and have had more amazing things happen as I have moved forward in life, knowing that we will all be together one day. Xx

Perfect ending. We needed that smile. #1. It was so nice to hear ppl use the word “partner” correctly for a change. #2. I believe the pale man in the last story had a message he needed to convey to the female of the household, he mistook the cleaner for that woman, and the message was to convey that if SHE had come sooner then he would not be dead (have committed suicide). I’ve heard more than one person explain that we are a consciousness in a body (Karl Jung is a major person who spoke on such things) and it is the best explanation perhaps that can be offered for such encounters; he was freshly dead, you were near the place of his death, and there was someone whom he desperately needed to speak to. Further, as you are near death a lot, perhaps it allowed you to be a conduit - then again, perhaps anyone would’ve done. I’m sure if you ask others, they will have tales to tell of close encounters with the recently deceased.

Since my uncle has the resources $$$ he has been kidnapped about three times. The police in Mexico 🇲🇽 don’t even bother trying to figure I out who they are. My uncles son’s and daughters always pay the ransom so maybe that’s why. This is in the state of Jalisco my uncle lives and has his businesses.

I love listening to your podcast and stories when settling down for sleep. Despite the occasionally scary topics, I find your voice quite relaxing 😊. EDIT - I also love Robin's artwork that accompanied this video. It reminds me of the episode of "Doctor Who" called "Silence in the Library" - well done you!

Suicidal ghosts giving you attitude. Rude. THEY MADE THE MESS. Well, I'm probably going to hell for that. Poor guy.

I can't get past 0:50. "I died since I turned 15..." What?! Also, judging by the comments, I don't think I want to listen to the rest, since someone else in the room might not want to hear it.
