Well... there's some seriously odd stuff you can do in VR games. for example, make a copy of your brain in Job Simulator. Burritos are exits. You can often drink, and eat. and wear hats. and glasses. and other accessories. So it's out of habit that he hopes that the cigarette sticks to his face. most other things would, so... let's just call it curiosity.
