Great! So, "on time" is when we don't have any time left for doing something and "in time" we use to say that we're not late, then we did something before the proper time. E.g.: Tom has to get to work at 10:00A.M (If he arrives at his work at exactly 10:00A.M,he's ON TIME. But if he arrives at 9:45 that means that he's, "IN TIME". I think I understood, right? Thank you very much!!!

Thx teacher. Good, simple & clear explanation ever seen. Well! we have got easily the point about the difference between ON time & IN time. But what's about AT TIME ? I guess we use AT TIME for specific time (e.g: at 3 am, at night, at noon, at present ...) .In addition, sometimes IN , ON & AT could be interchangeably ( at the beginning & in the beginning)!!!!!. We look for clear explanation. Hope you answer my question. Thx once again.

Hi, In time does not mean as you explained it. According to Cambridge, in time means early enough, NOT at the last moment. Cambridge: In time early enough I got home just in time - it's starting to rain. If we don't hurry up, we won't be in time to catch the train. We arrived in good time (= We arrived early) for the start of the match.
