Something tells me @LetsTalkIBD will have some extra perspective that helps her tolerate the long nights. Maggie seems to be one of those people who chooses joy. As the mom of a profoundly disabled child, I can spot a fellow joy-chooser when I see one. You're gonna be an amazing mom, Maggie. And, yes. Cancel all the things and sleep now. Lie around the bed half the day when you can. You deserve it! :)

Every woman I know is (or was) is sleepy and has low energy until the last trimester, close to the end. This may be a big part of how you feel. Discomfort with the belly enlarging is also normal. Just go with the flow and enjoy all you can. You have a miracle.

I have Celiac, and I get fatigued. It’s hard not having your energy levels where everyone else’s is. You’re doing great! Day by day. With sleep, my Dr recommended Unisom when I was pregnant. I would take a half of one, but there’s no issue taking a whole. I still take it to this day when I can’t sleep. It may help you sleep a little longer and help with energy. And totally safe! Hang in there…I’m in CT and the snow is gorgeous! Enjoy!❤❤

Looking back at last few years we have even been snowed in on my Birthday in April so a way to go yet but how wonderful the days are getting longer so Spring is stirring underground 🥰💜x

Canceling plans is tough. I used to try to do it all. After decades of surgeries and continuous flares, I now have learned to listen to my body. It’s not what my mind wants to do, but it’s what my body requires. You’re growing a baby, and you have Crohn’s. Listen to your body. It’s the wise thing to do for now. Something about having kids made me do all I could to try to be there for them. And still my body didn’t always comply. We do the best we can with what we have to work with.😊

I just want to thank you for being your true self. Longtime follower by way of multiple chronic conditions and loved ones w Crohn’s. I love listening to you while doing art or relaxing- you are one of those rare (to me) people who are as genuine as I imagine one can be w/a YT channel. You’re wholesome, thoughtful, uplifting (finding the silver linings) and even in your pain, I cry too, for you and with you. So much chaos and tragedy dominate, and then your videos bring a vibe I’m struggling to describe. Like the beauty of every teeny moment. I live that way to keep going. Just thank you. The snow! You’re the first person who watched snow like I do. such joy to live thru you bc no snow here in PNW. none. I felt like I was there and I felt that nostalgic anticipation. Wanted you to know, today my heart opened bc of this video- resilience and gratitude and grace, snow, doggos, and I laughed out loud when he peeked out of the shower. I try to share any time the simplicity of a wholesome person unexpectedly turns my whole day around. Enjoy the snow! Rest! Good for you for rest. The guilt stays no matter how much you know it’s not true. Even living this way for decades , canceling bc of my body still feels like a fail. But SN❄️W many good things come from that strength. 😉

I had long hair when my son was born. He didn't mess around with it, but when he was about six months old I cut it. It just so happened that my sister was around that day, and my son would not leave her arms and rejected me! That wasn't funny because I was nursing him. He figured it out after a little while but my feelings were hurt and I was less happy about the haircut until he accepted me again.

Snow can be fun when you don't have to go anywhere. I live in eastern NC and we don't get snow often. We are suppose to get snow Tuesday. Who knows if we will or not. I've lived here since 1990 and we have gotten a little bit here and there. There was a large amount in 89. Give yourself grace for being tired and have to rest the next day when doing a lot. When my nieces were infants and toddlers they never pulled my long hair. You should be fine with yours being long. My mom loved ice cream. She told me that when she was pregnant with me she would eat a large bowl of ice cream every day. I ended up having a allergy to dairy products. I could have them but couldn't over do it. I thanked my mom since she ate so much ice cream. I think i out grew the allergy

@LetsTalkIBD3 күн бұрын
Oh wow! I'm hoping that should I need one, they'll go through my ectopic scar which is horizontal rather than my vertical one. I had zero issues with my c section-like one healing, but tons with my vertical! Sadly I don't think feeling will come back with the vertical as I've had it 15 years
@user-Danswife3 күн бұрын
@LetsTalkIBD it took about 20 years for mine to feel normal maybe more. My youngest is 29 and I swear it was numb until about 7 years ago. Also, when I was having my second c-section they offered me a horizontal cut but I laughed and said "I know I'm a navy wife but I really don't want scars looking like an anchor."😂😂 so they went vertical every time but each time they took out the old scar and stitched it closed.
