About 15 years ago I had my first child delivered by Kaiser San Francisco. My sweet daughter was almost born dead because the lack of proper monitor and care in the delivery room! We switched to Blue Cross since then. This year in 2022 we decided to switch back to try for a year because the premium cost of blue cross is getting too high. I went to see a dr with my two teenage daughters. My experience was not good, we chose a family dr, when we arrived, they told me my daughter is now over 14, she should see the dr by herself, at that time I was ok. Then when it was my turn, they sent my daughter in the room with me with the dr. And when the dr needed to check my body, she had me undressed in front of her and my daughter, no partition, no any privacy. I had not problem going undressed with my daughters. Just didn’t understand why they treated the teens and the adults so differently. If the teens needed some privacy or sense of security talking to the dr, should they understand the parent also may like to get some privacy! Nope! They are just indifferent and wanted to have it done ASAP and moved on. With this experience, Blue Cross Is not too expensive!

I still don’t understand how to choose the best plan for me.
@imagesinla85753 жыл бұрын
Now I'm understanding about the Maximum Out Of Pocket Expense. This really helps me to decide on a particular plan. But the BIG question is: which insurance company has the highest amount of satisfied customers? That is what has me undecided on picking a plan.

Wow, informative and straightforward! Great job on this video! I hope you don't mind me asking, but if I was to pursue one of these KP plans as a single, 26-year old guy living in Socal who rarely has doctor visits (aside from physicals and maybe 1 urgent care), what would you recommend? I've read about a few benefits behind the HDHP HSA, but don't know what plan might be best for me?
@LetsTalkMoneyChannel2 жыл бұрын
A regular bronze plan would work- it allows you to have 3 visits per year +blood test + annual check up not subject to deductible! 👍 ! The HDHP HSA has its advantages, but you loose on the benefits if you go this route. You can apply online or reach out if you have questions: insurancecenterhelpline.com/kaiser

If a divorced female has no or little income, will she qualify as low income and receive free or low-cost health insurance? Can you explain details on how she can apply? If not, any alternative? If this includes Kaiser, then that will be her preference. Thank you. B.
@LetsTalkMoneyChannel3 жыл бұрын
yes, if her income per year (for year 2021) is less than $17, 609 then she will qualify for Medi-Cal. If the income is between $17, 610 and $76,560 then she will qualify for subsidized private plans via CoveredCa (including Kaiser). Here is the income table for your information: insurancecenterhelpline.com/our-blog/f/what-is-the-maximum-income-for-obamacare-subsidies-in-year-2021

So for example, if i only go to a physical 1 time a year, and urgent care possibly 2 times. What would be best :’(

In this case a bronze or a silver plan would work. I suggest you look at a side by side comparison of various plans before making the decision which plan to select. If you need help, I can help! kzbin.info/www/bejne/foa3ZXihicmLZq8

Is Annual out of pocket maximum including monthly premium?
@LetsTalkMoneyChannel3 жыл бұрын
No, the annual maximum out of pocket does not include the monthly premium, but it includes everything you pay out of your pocket per year (deductible + coinsurance + copay).

My fiancé & I just found out we are expecting - currently 7 weeks in but she left her job & has no insurance & we’ve been going back & forth trying to understand everything. Which insurance would you recommend her getting? We were thinking bronze before we understood “no charge after deductible” so now we’re considering a plan with a higher monthly but no deductible. Would love your feedback as we are in need to get her approved for something asap. Thank you!!

15+ minute long advertisements are, in my opinion, horse shit. I dislike your product due to said advertising. Is there any reason you can give that supports why your advertisements are so damn long?
