Vasa Real is an upper secondary school (gymnasium in Swedish, the American equivalent would be high school). In the old school system, Real would designate a "regular" high school while a Latin school would include teaching Latin and Greek. That system was replaced a long time ago with a more modern school system but the names live on like Vasa Real and Norra Latin.
@georggustafssonpech64903 жыл бұрын
Vasa real is not a gymnasium/high scholl it is actually a school for students in the 5th to 9th grade. Thier is also a jewish school conected to Vasa real for students from the 7th to 10th grade (or högstadie in swedish)

Still a nice walk in-spite of the gloomy weather. Stockholm is actually a laidback modern place with a rich history and u can see it easily along as you walk. Probably that’s why we watch the walk coz of that relaxing feeling.☺️

Thanks for the walk. Rainy wearher may be awful for filming but the result video doesn't look too bad with streets washed clean and ponds reflecting the lights and city buildings. Keep up the good work.

I agree, the beauty of Stockholm is the lovely character of the older buildings and the calmer more relaxed atmosphere. Hmm but I love modern too, without the chaos. Well I guess you have the best of both worlds! Lucky! 😂 😊

This video brought back some good memories of my trip back in 2013. Odenplan station was still under renovation at the time, it is nice to see the new roof now! I later found out Odenplan station was where VW filmed their piano staircase advert. I stayed at the Ibis Styles hotel, still remember having breakfast at the hotel café with a lovely view of the the church (start of the video). On the last day of my trip I discovered a park / viewing point nearby at the observatory nearby? it was a shame that I didn’t visit the observatory... I hope to be back one day, hopefully in the not too distant future! Keep the videos up! Best Wishes from Hong Kong

Despite the murkiness of the weather your camera captured good light and clarity. The rear registration plate of the Mercedes vehicle in 3:03 caught my attention primarily because it didn't match the usual Swedish format of 3 + 3. Then I realised GREAT DANE!!! Either a reference to their dog or a reference to the owner him/herself. Interesting, the first time I have spotted a Swedish personalised number plate.
@radixverum19403 жыл бұрын
Yes, we have personalized plates although you don't see too many of them. In the regular system of 3 letters+3 digits, we ran out of combinations so on new cars, the last character can now be either a digit or a letter.
@DikWhite3 жыл бұрын
@@radixverum1940 Yes, I had already noticed that new combination pattern which is quite common now. Weird how I have an interest in registration plates, always have had..... lol
