I visited Hebden Bridge as much as possible it is the most wonderful place that I have been ever. The only thing that's upset me was the new town hall which is without any architectural merit at all. It is amazing that that this bland place got planning permission.

I love Hebden Bridge, I've been there several times, but I didn't know much of it's history. I really enjoyed the video ❤

I love all the walking tours. Thanks to them I learned all about Grasmere and gingerbread and became the hit of both my friend in the UK and my family on this other side of the pond. The only slight lamentation is that the most recent vids are narrated. i enjoyed being able to turn off sound, read the explanatory captions and not have to wake up others or bother others at the odd times I would enjoy a walk and others the stillness, LOL. I can't merely turn off the sound as the captions, so very informative of times past, in particular, are absent. SIGH.

Very interesting video. Such a shame that a beautiful small town like this is so scarred by art-less graffiti in so public spaces, plus fly-posting on lamp posts etc. The work of local chavs, druggies and thugs? Or of visitors?

I’m from here I’m 30 and I know the taggers because one lives next door to me he’s called jack 🤣🤣 there’s a lot of chavs it’s like mixy in Halifax at night just go to the centre or park and see what I mean. People don’t believe me but I’ve been here all my life and want to leave for a nicer place. It’s a front the hippies have put up but really the place is a shithole take it from a person with that much exp.

So if Hebden Bridge ever becomes the victim of multi-culti "diversity", they can add a brass band called The Black Dykes to rival the other one in Yorkshire. 🤣😂

I always laugh when I see these and peoples comments because ignorance is bliss. I’m from here and still live here I’ve wanted out for years it’s a shithole under the surface. each to their own but you really do need to truth whether you take it then it’s your choice but it’s the truth. Regardless of the hippies this is one of the high drugs towns out there people don’t know that I’ve friends what are drug dealers and majority of the kids aged from 12 to 20 are cocaine users with odd hippy ones not. If you want to enjoy in your own way then people come for the day but stay for a month and go out in the centre and park at night and you’ll see what I mean it’s a front the hippys put up to show what a local town it is. But I challenge you do what I recommended above and I can guarantee you won’t come back it’s a horrible place to live really I hate it here so do my family because we know what it’s like.
