Nice job J. John! I graduated from the Yale of the Midwest in 1986. As a Christian, I always felt like a fish out of water, even though the college was started by missionaries. Circa 2016, I saw a tour guide saying, "There's Eaton Chapel, where sermons were once preached." This is how far we've fallen. I hope Eric's book can awaken a few church-goers! (Matthew 24:32-35).

Your book applies to us in the UK and in all areas of the too comfortable privileged church, Eric. The only way that we can truly reach our communities with the Good News to is model it practically as Jesus did and the early church. Thank you for the gently kick up the butt we need!

I was out yesterday with a group from an exercise class and they were so scathing about religion about the sexual abuse that has happened and I’m ashamed to say I did not know how to respond ! This interview is a challenge to me how Christian’s have fallen
