Thank you, I love Phil Yancey and I read "Grace Notes" everyday as part of my devotions. I will be praying for Mr. Yancey as he lives with this new trial in his life.

Wonderful time listening to you and Philip Yancy. Great questions and great answers. Both of you have made an impact in my life on how you live to share the Godspell and how Philip writes about surrendering to God our pain, frustration, and sadness in life and in church in order to be amazed by our Lord’s grace. Thank you!

My own dear father, on Earth had parkinson's and and what he also had was something we called the beginning of dementia. He had white outs, he didn't pass out, but he wouldn't know where he was. But God bless him, he loved the Lord and mercifully he wasn't a lingering patient for years and years with bed sores. When he spoke, tho bedridden, the word of God was heard. He memorized lots of scripture. Please Lord ease thus man's way.

Fascinating that Christ never wrote anything for historical record. And what he did write in the dirt was blown away... just like the sins of all believers!
