Four favorites with the cast of The Brutalist-Adrien Brody, Felicity Jones, Stacy Martin, Raffey Cassidy, Isaach de Bankolé, Joe Alwyn, and Alessandro Nivola-as well husband and wife writing and directing duo, Mona Fastvold and Brady Corbet. The Brutalist craft artisans-production designer Judy Becker, cinematographer Lol Crawley, and composer Daniel Blumberg-also give their four favorites.
The Brutalist starts its 70mm special engagement in the US today via ‪@A24‬. The film expands across the United States and around the world in January 2025.

@@jcole4517 well yes, why not try to make it interesting, or imply some kind of tension such as exists within life (the tragic, the comic, and so on) 'name some films you think are good' isn't a very interesting exercise certainly not when they're namedropping canonical names like tarkovsky the only way for that to be interesting is when a director likes a film that isn't actually good like paul Thomas Anderson's love for Robert altman's Popeye adaptation
