Dan is one million times more likeable without adding all those unnecessary s's when he speaks. And Michelle is an absolute doll, best move you made was adding her to the show.

EDIT: I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that there was no football/farm kid split, (hockey too, this is Minnesota after all) so some of the jokes just don't work.

If I were to guess, the Dutch are on average the tallest people, so it'd be all the tallest kids on one team, kinda unfair. A lot of Dutch people emigrated to Canada, that's why they (and later offspring) would be in school there.
