Jim Carrey was definitely one of the funniest and consistent actors of all time. He made tons of movies and nearly all of them were pure gold. Glad I got the chance in life to grow up in the 90s with comedic talent like his.

Tarantino, for example, was certainly respected, but he didn’t just pop up in regular conversations. Carrey 100% did. The 90s really was a golden age for comedy, lol. For the first 4 minutes David Letterman was just sort of in a auto-pilot interviewer mode, doing the polite laughs at Jim Carey's jokes, but when Jim started doing the Broderick Crawford bit, it totally struck a chord with Letterman. You could see his demeanor change and his laughter was genuine. Watching him riff with Jim doing the impersonation was awesome to watch.

This was the time when Jim was like The Elvis or Beatles of comedy. He was everywhere and he was brilliant each time you saw him, with tons of charisma. He made it and now, interestingly, he has walked in a more spiritual direction. I loved him then and I love him now- one of the greats!

I am from Croatia, I remember when I was 10, it was new year eve and I was waiting for it in front of tv and after we went to do fireworks with my parents and neighbours. There was Mask in a set of movies that evening. These moments of not worrying about anything and completely enjoying Jim's movie somehow got stuck in my memories.

While Robin’s humanity and realness would steep out into our his comedy and into our hearts. His comedy has a certain power. They’re both awesome in different ways, but, Robin had something special. Still miss him.

When all is said and done Jim Carrey in the 90s might be the most successful comedic run of any actor in film history. Eddie Murphy, Will Ferrel and others aside, not many can claim to be anywhere near opening #1 as many times or having as many comedies surpass $100 million (those days may be gone forever). You always had a sense that Letterman didn't like most of the guests, but could still make great TV. Here, he seems absolutely charmed by Jim Carrey, which makes this even more fun to watch. (We didn't know how good we had it back then, look at the incredibly poor state of today's late night TV, just pure junk.)

I was 8 years old, in 1994. And when Ace, Mask, and Dumber came out on VHS I was allowed to watch because they were PG-13. Glad I was able to be a bystander (albeit from a very far distance) in Jim's meteoric rise to fame. Many, many laughs were had. To this day, I can quote lines from dumb and Dumber, and people my age know exactly what I'm talking about and play along!

What I love most about KZbin is this sense of discovery when one is surfing through videos and something catches your attention. This video was worth discovering. Jim and David doing their Broderick Crawford impressions had me laughing out loud. I suffer from depression and they snapped me out of my funk and I am now going to go for a walk and get some fresh air. I feel good now. KZbin can sometimes be my therapy and potential side effects are laughter!!!!! By the way, Jim Carrey is my favorite actor. Ever since Ace Ventura Pet Detective, I have seen all his movies and no one makes me laugh harder. Most appreciated!! Thank you Jim.

Only Jim's movies especially D&D had me unable to breathe and abdominal muscles pain the next day because I couldn't just couldn't stop laughing my ass off.
