Mudersoreass Dr maurice rawlings spoke about the story of one of his patients and said, until one day I ran across a negative experience. It was because we started the interview whilst we were resuscitating the patient in the heat of battle. Each time of interrupted CPR to adjust the pacemaker, he would convulse, turn blue, stop breathing, his heart would stop beating, and I'd reach over and start him up again like you can. Every time I'd let go, he'd be back in Hell. After I said this prayer there were no more writhing experiences, no more negative fighting attitude. He was calm. I asked him the next day to tell me about being in Hell. I told him he had frightened the nurses to death, and he had scared the Hell out of me. He said, 'What Hell? After that prayer you gave, I remember seeing my mother when she was living, although she had died when I was three years old.' Impossible! He picked her out of a photograph album his aunt brought in next day, but he had never actually seen her. He identified her from her clothing. He had seen her in Heaven. What apparently happened was that he had sublimated the Hell experiences to painless parts of his memory, but after the conversion he had Heavenly experiences. That 'nonsensical' prayer I prayed to humour him not only got the man converted, but it got me too. We both became born again Christians.

Korkskruven When I was young teenager, I had skin disease on my leg. Doctors could not heal it. It spread. Then I prayed to Jesus to please remove it. the next day it totally disappeared. I remember it to this very day. My sister also had skin disease at back, close to her neck. she also prayed with all her heart and it disappeared. Also - can someone help me understand the references to Ebed-Asherah (the servant, the dog)? As I research him ( referenced as ‘he’ many times by Rib-Addi), I have found this far only references to him as a son of or alternate spelling of Abdi-Ashirta, king of Amurru. But, surely this cannot be accurate, as in one of the EA Rib-Haddi asks, ‘what is his origin?’ before noting Ebed-Asherah’s ‘strength among he bedouin’ and ‘great power.’ This confuses me as to whether the translation is an approximation or represents a different individual than denoted in the references I’ve found.

I am mesmerized by the implications of the entire Amarna period (I realize I am not alone) vis a vis developing a fundamental understanding of that period which must certainly have defined much of the religion-geopolitical world of today. I cannot but think the activities at Amarna, the plague which beset the near east and Egypt, the iconoclasm and monotheism of Akhenaten, the destruction of Akhetaten, the single minded focus of Akhenaten toward the Aten and his seeming utter disregard for the vassal states and geopolitics generally, spurred much of Exodus and Joshua (I believe at least Joshua is regarded as written by two distinct discernible non-concurrent authors). It is frankly amazing to me that the Amarna period may still exist, in a tangential way of speaking, due to events captured in part here; as depicted in the tomb walls at Amarna (including the Hymn and Psalm 104); and through the recent excavations of the cemeteries at Amarna (describing a low mean life span for an adult or near-adult population), via the self-identification of the latter Kingdom of Israel (with a nod to earliest ethic ‘ranking’ possible from Merneptah) 350:or so years subsequent. Has anyone here researched the work of Macmurray, focusing on solar eclipse modeling that (when the variable T used to account for the change in the earth’s rate of rotation over time is assumed to make it so) demonstrates a potential total solar eclipse directly over Akhetaten / Amarna in 1338 BC? It seems to me that, if this is accurate, this would herald the beginning of Akhenaten’s facsinatiin with the location, rather than the end of his reign. However, if the standard chronology is accurate and not off by ~ 15 years, it would mark the end of the Amarna period (vs beginning of it), and thus would seem a very strong astronomical coincidence. I’m also intrigued by KV 55 and the genetic disqualification of KV21a as Ankhesenamun, through Tut and the fetuses, if KV 55 is Akhenaten. I’m trying to stay current on these hypotheses, but it seems at least likely that KV 55 must be Smenkhare, and KV21a is Ankhesenamun. Although no more than likely. I do not profess to understand yet the ramifications of genetic ‘miss readings’ for such an inbred population. I am seeking to better understand that subject.

Bible: Aijalon features in a major staged land battle, where Israel conquers “Aijalon with the open land about it” (Joshua 10:12; 21:24). 4. Beth-Shean Amarna: A strong garrison is prepared and stationed at Beth-Shean-no indication that it is conquered (EA 289). Bible: The Israelites fret about iron chariots stationed at Beth-Shean and fail to drive out the inhabitants (Joshua 17:16; Judges 1:27). 6. Gezer Amarna: The king of Gezer fights against the Habiru, but it seems there is a movement by his own people (including his own brother) against him, who appear to overthrow him and end up aiding the enemy (EA 271, 287, 298, 299). Bible: The king of Gezer is killed, but for some untold reason the Canaanites of this area are allowed to remain and give tribute to Israel (Joshua 10:33; 12:12; 16:10). 7. Gebal (Byblos) Amarna: The king of Gebal worries about the potential of the Habiru attacking the city. However, there is no evidence that it was (EA 68, 73, 74, 76, 77, 88, 90, 121, 188). Bible: Jerusalem is one of the last places to be attacked and conquered (Judges 1:8). When the city is eventually conquered at the start of the judges period, it is burned (same verse). 11. Lachish Amarna: The Habiru killed a leader of Lachish and gained control of the city (EA 287, 288, 329, 330, 333). Bible: The Israelites killed the king of Lachish in a separate land battle and later conquered the city (Joshua 10:23-26, 31-32). 12. Megiddo Amarna: Megiddo is attacked and defeated by a group allied with the Habiru (EA 243, 244, 246). Sidon Amarna: The king of Sidon writes that his surrounding cities have joined themselves to the Habiru (EA 144). Bible: While battle did reach as far north as the borders of Sidon, the Canaanite inhabitants remained in that city (Joshua 11:8; Judges 1:31). I would like to explain what Habiru was. An ancient group of people living in the Syropalestinian region who do not have their own state. They were newcomers (from across the Euphrates) and led a largely nomadic lifestyle, which is why they can be associated with wandering Gypsies. This group includes the main Hurrians and Semites, along with collateral inscriptions, as vagabonds and robbers, mercenary warriors, servants and slaves, and merchants and traders. We see definition of it exactly matches with Bible Hebrews which also were nomadic society. And there was no mention of Israel before Egyptian Merneptah Stele so egyptian didn't really knew name of Israel and just called them Habiru. Muddy Witch please. Our bodies are temporary, everybody will die and turn to dust. Therefore we should not care how we look like. Why should we be wasting time to be building up bodies that don't last and that are going to rot in the graves? Instead we should build up our spiritual bodies and pursue things which last forever. You should be worried about, where you will go after death. theres another way but some people wont seek it please repent and believe in JESUS so that your sins can be forgiven so that you can be saved from hell. God does not forgive sins except there is a payment for sin and the payment is death of the sinner.
