The story about Elvis and Brando is BS. Elvis met Brando only once in one of the employee cafeterias at one of the movie studios. Elvis was very excited to meet him as he was a fan. Brando was not friendly and Elvis was disappointed with the way the accidental meeting went. You can research the whole story online.

The autobiographical book from Brando ( = " Songs My Mother Taught Me " ) mentioned , laconically , that Brando underestimated Elvis : Brando thought that Elvis just stole black music but Marlon was more than wrong , Elvis grew up with Gospels and Rhythm & Blues who matched so deeply with his intrinsic nature that Elvis stayed in symbiosis with them all his life with an overflowing passion . Do these people not know that Elvis was not a letter writer. He wrote extremely few during his life. What Elvis did do was to underline continuously and write comments next to the paragraphs where he had underlined. He did that with his The Holy Bible as well. I think some parts of the book is true and some exaggerated. Elvis didnt always have the Memphis Mafia around him he had many different friends and interests. I hope he didnt suffer like it says in the book but Elvis was afraid for his life he had a vulnerability about him. I believe he was an empath and this Carmen visited him through astral projection because I believe all of that myself. The book won't change the way I've always felt about Elvis but it confirmed what I thought of Priscilla. Just my opinion hope I haven't offend anyone. Love and light.🙏🕊️

He's actually 47 years old and uses Photoshopped images of a biker that he took rolls of film of at a rally in Sturgis. What's even funnier, is that biker, doesn't even know Jon. Much like Bob Joyce, Jon Cotner was selling CDs And people were sending him money just because they thought he was Elvis. And Jon had a pretty astounding way of talking like Elvis because he was from the same part of the country. He just kicked it up a notch and BAM! dead on Elvis impression. Unfortunately, for Bob, he sounds absolutely NOTHING like Elvis when he talks. Bob has a very died in the wool Texas accent, and why not; He was born in Terrant county Texas on June 19th in 1952. He was depressed. He coped. But he spent more and more time on his room. With his companion s sometimes. Couldn’t Ginger see he may have been down. Not blaming her, but honestly if I was 21, I’d try my best to cheer them up, if they could not get out of that darkness. I wouldn’t stick around I’d want to be around more positive people. Ginger was too young to be around middle aged problems. She may have been more mature for her and sincerely cared, but she was still young. I don’t blame her, she only was with Elvis for about 8 months. She was caught up in the glow of this famous man. And maybe a chance for a better life for her, at that age it is understandable. But as mature as she was she was still young. Elvis had health problems, medication s could have affected his sex drive. Ginger too young not to have normal physical love, not that that is top priority, but it is important when you are that young. Elvis put his feelings down.,And sometimes it is helpful to write. I don’t believe he committed suicide, his hea😊 caught up with him. There’s no way he’d leave his daddy and Lisa on purpose. But I do think he had midlife depression. For an artist that’s normal to question your self. Am I getting too d, he saw young artists out there, he may have felt passé, though every concert was a sell out and he appreciated his fans. I still think he didn’t feel revelant anymore. But he could still make a good living. That middle age insecurity. He had no idea of impact he had. He was still on the radio, people knew he was still around, but many getting into new acts , music. That happened with Elvis in the fifties. But how little did he know the affect his death had not n people, he would have been absolutely shocked. He knew he had fans , but his death felt around the world. Because the lost a music icon, who helped turn music into a new form, he didn’t invent, but he had a style all his own, he was influenced by blacks, he didn’t intentionally still anything, but a white man to shake like that was a shock. Asked why he did what he did” it just comes natural, I can’t help it, the beat of the music, I just do my own thing man” 😊he had no intention of shocking anyone. And music went from there. And 46 years he is still remembered. Not the most gifted ,,talented ,,didn’t write music, but his aura,,charisma, somehow made him different. Mick Jagger probably only artist living today who has what Elvis had.

I just read the book front to back in last two days... I have never read a book that made me cry so much... This explains so much and I have always wondered and have felt he too is an empath... he had many of my same ailments... I can also believe this and that the Colonel probably his so much or hushed such from being in the news and media whole he was failing and in hospital... I do hope they someday find the other letter from her... Ar this time people still try to ruin Elvis reputation and also even others like Brando... I often wonder if some of the mob or mafia or people connected to Hollywood is why Elvis got fed up with much of Hollywood... Thank you for writing this book maybe it will be made into a documentary or a movie but it would be hard to do and is awfully tragic and graph ic... It totally made me cry so emotionally in these findings...

This "Montez" woman who supposedly was his "spiritual advisor" is not spoken of in any of the EP biographical books. Larry Geller is credited as his spiritual advisor/guru. I've heavily researched Elvis's life, and nowhere is this woman mentioned by name. As for Brando: Marlon Brando and Elvis were not friends, though they did meet once. Elvis admired him as an actor and that's as far as it went. How did Elvis's so-called "letters" fall into the hands of these people in the first place? I don't believe they're legitimate. I believe this to be one big hoax. Shame on KARE 11 for not vetting this book and its author before devoting a segment to discuss it.

I will need to read the book, but based on this video, none of it lines up with Elvis' personality, moving furniture from one house to another, everyone knows he would not have done that. Of the years of being an Elvis fan, all the hours of info I have watched about him, and the many books I have read about him, I only know of Elvis and Brando meeting one time, shortly, just an introduction, and were never friends that would socialize, much more, move furniture together. Sounds like a fiction book to me but I will try to read it at some point, to give it its' fair due.

The fact that Brando and Elvis only met one time, in 1958, should be enough of a warning that anything else said in book should be investigated. He would wipe his mouth with a clean tissue everytime and drop the used one on the floor. When he got up his house keeper had to pick them ALL UP HERSELF. Joyce Bova talks about the TV above Elvis' bed would get fuzzy and he would wake his dad up at 3am via phone to stand in the bed and wiggle the antenna to fix the picture. His girlfriend was not allowed to do it for him lol. He had people to do EVERYTHING. You know how I know this is crap - Elvis only wrote maybe 6 letters TOP in his entire life. THREE of those letters were in boot camp to Anita Wood and her copies were donated to Harvard and were released as a memento limited edition box set. I own that set. The other half were from Elvis to Priscilla from Graceland to Germany. Those 2 or 3 have never been seen by the public. Elvis was a huge Brando fan and only met him ONCE on the studio lot. Brando was icy. Rita Moreno has claimed that she used Elvis Presley to payback Marlon Brando for cheating on her after she found womens panties. Elvis spotted her at the 20th Century Fox commissary, and he liked what he saw had Parker call her up.
