There is no telling. I ordered a book from amazon and when I got it the spine was ripped. It couldn’t have been damaged during shipping so they had to have put it in the box that way.

I really loved the video! I read these two books last month and really enjoyed them! As a note though, Mexican Gothic is not a thriller. It's main genres are gothic horror and historical fiction

Based on experienced, I will believe you on these books. I love dark, subtle, nuanced books. And good villains are a must in fantasy. I’m a fan of thrillers, though I like the fast ones, but gothic stories have tricky pacing (I think this is because you pick The Hunting of Hill House 😉).
