Okay. My mind is blown. A fellow Reiki Master told me about Matt on Canada day when we did a Reiki share. Of course I forgot to look him up. I finally got together for a Reiki share this past Thursday and she mentioned Matt again. Now here I am. Wow. Wish I hadn't waited so long.

Non ownership feels like the fear of death - very challenging - letting go would be total freedom - scary and wonderful, sheila

I'm not sure about his argument, just because even if one concedes that one doesn't own any experience or object (etc.), people would still be disappointed because they are incapable of, at the very least, having some transitory experience with that particular object or event. So what he's really asking people to do is to no longer attach any meaning or worth towards what we typically value in life - relationships, comfortable living, etc. Seems to me that at that point, life becomes pointless
