One thing I don't see anyone talk about in the WoW community, is that WoW is a completely different game if you are fortunate enough to play with competent players (especially if those players are the tanks ... and maybe healers). I pug as frost mage, in groups made up of players below 2880 io, and its a real slog. I got lucky in a pug where a random tank with over 3100 io jumped in, and it was as I said above, like playing a totally different game. Everything was so much easier, my damage was so much higher, previous group road blocks were effortlessly overcome, no wipes, I finished the dungeon wirhout dying, it was such a joy. If I hadn't had that experience I would be sitting here wondering how the hell you could get a fresh level 80 to 3k in about two to three weeks. However after having that experience I have come to realise that if you can get into groups where everyone has 3k io+ ... its easy to time keys in the +14 range. The important thing is io and not item level, take players with high io and rubbish gear over players with max ilvl and sub 2880 io.

Ya honestly Ilvl doesn't really matter, especially this far into the season. Having my main with higher IO has definitely helped me get into keys as well! I've always said that if you play better in M+ / Raid you end up playing the game less, because everything gets done so much faster.

From what I've seen its going to be average again, but things can change as we get closer to the next season. I'll still be maining Windwalker next season and will let you guys know!

I think Night Elf is better for keys, but void elf has the extra mobility which is night but we don't really need it on ww
