For anyone who is wondering how ballet shoes work; first of all they do not have a wooden block, pointe shoes are basically paper mashe (of course there are different strengths for different flexibility levels and brands etc.). And yes your toes are straight😊

My daughter went en pointe (ballet) in January. It’s so hard to dance in the pointe shoes! However, they don’t have wooden blocks in them 😂 their toes are straight in there. The construction of the shoes disperse the weight to the side of the feet and the ankles so it’s not all on the toes! It does hurt though! You need to listen to your teachers and have a strong core and ankles!

I don't wear a lot of jewelry either. When I would wear earrings, I LOVED wearing ones that were "statement pieces" meaning they were unique. I think you might enjoy doing that. Same with necklaces and bangles, but don't over do it pick one to be the statement item and the others standard/ plain...

Hey jazzy. Actually I haven't worn earrings in years. I got my ears pierced when I was 9, and the last time I wore earrings was around age 30 and I'll be 49 in November. And I think the little hoop earrings are your style, they look so cute on you and when you wear studs you really can't see them unless you show them off. My favorite animal is an otter. As a former ballet dancer there isn’t a wooden block in the end of the pointe shoes 😂 it’s basically like a hard casing that goes around your toes but it’s literally millimetres thick, no block at all

I've just ordered from a small business called solace jewellery. They are hypoallergenic and you can choose from gold, silver, and I think some are rose gold. They do a range of studs, hoops and Huggie earrings. I have issues as I react to earrings but these have been great and I would highly recommend. 😊 They also do great deals and keep in touch especially if there are any issues.

For pointe shoes there isn't a wooden block at the end the whole toe section is wooden but it is the lining of the show not like a block your toes go near the end of the shoe if that makes sense. They are too tight for your toes to fully goe to end. But it isn't just your foot then a big block. Your foot is in the wooden casing of the shoe

two things 1. if you keep telling yourself that you can't do something, then you will likely never be able to do that thing. I have been married to husband for 17 years and I still don't wear my wedding ring lol. But neither does he. I only wear my watch for work lol. My favorite animal is a lion but pet-wise favorite would be dogs (especially huskies). My dog passed from cancer in my arms May 31st, 2022 and I'm finally ready to get a new one, hopefully I will get to adopt a dog next week from our shelter during the clear the shelter event they are having. Lol. No wooden block in the end of pointe shoes! They are made of fabric and cardboard held together with glue with leather on the bottom. Your toes should be straight while the arch is curved. You go on pointe when your ankles are strong enough to hold support your foot. Really painful as a beginner but becomes second nature as you progress.
