I think you should try and recreate these meals at home. Buy all the ingredients from the store. Then compare the prices and see what was cheaper. Or for a future video maybe do something like that.

I think that for a fair "worth" comparison, you should prepare the same item at home (wether it's your taste or not) and compare the costs also. And a tip: look up what your ordered on the menu or the Internet? Also, you can't always judge by the colour the quality of your food. Seen the colourings and additives they are processed with.

Fun fact: Lox is cured salmon. Instead of cooking, they cure the fish in a brine and then cold smoke it.

Nova Lox is my favorite breakfast. Smoked salmon is cured (“cooked”). The green things are capers, which are unriped green buds of a prickly bush called capparis spinosa that grows wild across the Mediterranean and parts of Asia, that have been pickled = briny/salty I don’t usually put tomatoes on it, though, but I do put hard boiled egg + cream cheese, red onion, capers, & salmon. Avocado on toasted sourdough w/medium cooked egg is my second favorite. So glad you’re not yucking people’s Yum. 😂😂

The green seeds are capers. Taste a bit salty. Not my favourite either. The salmon was smoked salmon so instead of cooking on a stove or in an oven it’s cooked in a smoker. I was born in 1965, but subway didn’t open in the UK until 1996, in Brighton on the south coast near where my husband is from……and we got married in 1996.

When I was a little kid my Dad Mixed sour cream and salas together and called it something wish I could remember what it actually was but I remember laughing and didnt believe it was called that and he made it up but I believed him for years cause he kept call it that.
