Plastic straws are one of the main killers of turtles, thats why most places have paper straws, although plastic cups are not good for the environment they are more practical and they don’t kill the turtles because they are much larger than straws.

maccas paper cups: they are made of paper but have a layer of oil/ stuff on the inside to stop the liquid from coming out. this means they STILL (like the starbucks cups) cannot break down prperly)
