Hi Josh, you’re doing a great job, not only farming, but you go beyond that, you’re inspiring people and educating as well. I will suggest to touch the pricing subject deeper with a general overview of the different crops you grow. The legal side of an urban farm should be a most watch video, even it should be different in every state and city. Another important subject is that as an urban farmer you may deal with squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons, and other sort of pests. How do you deal with them. Great job again!!!!!

In our urban home garden rabbits are now our bane and the measures we'd taken and had success with against the list above, rabbits just laugh at. This year we're trying metal screening/fencing, time to get back out there...

Thanks for video. I built a bubbler which worked very well. But I didn't know how long to bubble it and if you removed the lettuce with the bubbler on or off. The details on the fan drying lettuce were perfect. I also learned that I cut my lettuce way to short. Those are the type of "little things" that bring your video's to the top of the must watch list when your learning how to become a better gardener or marker gardener. Your video's are fantastic!

Thanks so much. I'm in NC and trying to grow summer lettuce for market. A few questions: the leaves you're harvesting look rather large. I know you said you're not going for a gourmet spring mix, but is there a limit to the size leaves customers want in a lettuce mix or have you never had any complaints. Also, is there a way to keep lettuce from browning at the cut end in storage? Thanks!

Like most things in farming, it depends. You will have to make that call for each crop and what stage it is in. Cut too high and get a smaller harvest. Cut too low and you will damage the plant. You can definitely tell by looking at the plant and what you harvest.
