Howdy ya’ll. Recently, I was reading the 1856 book “The Great Wonders of the World…” (link below) in which I discovered a really beautiful building known as The Town Hall Of Leuven. The building was absolutely unique, and was completely new to me.
A quick search, and a breeze through wiki, showed that not a lot of information, or photographs were provided for this absolutely immense structure. And yet, with a little more digging, we come to find that the history of this building is truly important to the history of Belgium and of the greater European area.
The Town Hall, according to the narrative, was constructed in 1448, and was at the center of the fortified city of Leuven. Leuven, like many other star and fortified cities, eventually fell victim to a great disaster. However, this disaster was caused by man. As Germany marched towards France in 1914, they came to Belgium, more specifically, to Leuven.
In what some call one of the worst unprovoked tragedies of World War One, The German army proceeded to ransack and destroy the city, burning down all but one building; The Town Hall, which the Germans used as their base of operation. The tactics displayed in Belgium led to a great change in politics and strategy, shifting global allegiances, and reshaping architecture, specifically in Leuven.
Today, we will look at the oldest photographs of The Town Hall of Leuven, while discussing the history, and finally, viewing the overall city of Leuven after the loss of buildings from the advancing German army. There’s a lot to digest here, but I believe the photographs really do paint a vivid picture that must be seen to be understood.

This is very strange, but I recently bought a couple of books at a charity shop, a 2 volume set called 'Glorious Belgium'. It is Full of the most amazing structures unlike any I've seen before and no, nobody had shown this town Hall before. I also noticed the missing parts in the pictures of the hall.

And since the jews, masons, protestants, communists and all the enemies of God had taken controll over society and all nations (and this is punishment for sin), you only see ugly buildings and these enemies of Christ are the ones that destroy all the magnificent buldings to replace with ugliness shit because beauty inspires us to think, to maditate and to reflect on God, eternity, heaven, the purpose of life, death, etc...

Louvain/Lowen/Leuven was also a huge star formation (I don't call them forts for think they were not built as forts initially). It was over 2km wide and 2.5km long, a large formation which would have seen a canal around the outside and another citadel within the outer circle, another smaller circle, again with a moat or canal running around the outer walls. It appears to have been fed from and back into a number of rivers both large and small, some of which have now been turned into roads or sent underground, although transforming them into roads does seem to happen more frequently than we imagine. I am currently researching star formations and it would appear that originally they sat above the surrounding landscapes, but now are at the same level, some even lower than the countryside around them and nearly all have lost the water that travelled around and usually through them, running under the largest cathedral or church. Something of note on the map link below is that there are forts marked on the map, some are to the right of Tessenderloo, so if Leuven or Louvain is also a fort then why is it not marked as such, mainly because, I believe, they were not forts as I said before, I think they were in the shapes with their petals or points for another reason or reasons. There is so much to say about star formations and there are literally 1000s of them, far more than anyone perhaps realises, for most have been obliterated, particularly those in the US, UK, Ireland, Germany and some other countries. However, they can still be found in numerous quantities in France, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Portugal and in the eastern bloc countries, although the ones in the north of Russia appear, just like the cities once marked on many old maps, to have completely disappeared. Leuven is a large star, it is round, which is different from other formations, but it was obviously a very important centre, one which I believe was integral to energy creation. I know I cannot prove this, but having seen the proximity of other star formations one thing is obvious, if they were spending all their time building these HUGE constructions (bearing in mind the cathedrals within usually took an average of 100-200 years and they represent just a tiny fraction of these places) then they would have had no time for combat, at least until they were all built, then they had all the time in the world to spend fighting one another. Sorry, I have banged on a bit there, but Leuven is very interesting, as you say Jarid, very interesting. gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/btv1b53213939s/f1.item.r=louvain.zoom

The family were originally glass blowers by trade in Belgium. He had a display at Chicago world fair ,cause he had hand blown the worlds biggest glass cylinder at the time. I cant find anything else about the Glass cylinder, like a picture of it unfortunately. His name was amore Lorioux.

A beauty indeed. It is only give or take 50 miles from where I live and I have seen this gem several times. Never on the inside though. The statues were added not that long ago (1849-1880). In WW2 a Flying Bomb just missed the building but the close by impact did damege a few statues. The 87 statues in the towers were placed in between 1895 and 1913. Actually the Old City Register and Archive is very well preserved and the registers date 1362-1795. All books next to each other makes one fat book 3 quarters of a mile thick. The register alone is consisting of 950K pages but there are also letters , books , drawings etc. from inhabitants and comunications with people from other places. It is one of the best preserved and most complete archives from the Province of Brabant.( Since 1830, after the Belgian Revolution, the Nothern part is still in the Netherlands and the Southern part belongs to Belgium). In Brabant there are plenty of these structures of wich most are well documented. Only problem, even for the Dutch and Belgian people, is reading Old Dutch. Especially because it was all hand written. If you want to have a look at the archives for fun or research , it is in Dutch but also translated in English & French. I bet it will change the minds of a lot of people nowadays , thinking we can not do such things anymore and bla-bla bla so let alone they would be able to do it back then. Most of them have never seen any archive but parroting claims after their only research ; watching youtube , facebook and tiktok videos. The age of the statues can be deceiving on the townhall of Leuven. I studied in the city for Four years, and have always lived closeby. And if you look really closely you Will find statues of Napoleon Bonaparte and king Leopold II (yes thát Leopold), they are not from the 1400s 😅 In Dutch we would also make a difference in our use of the word 'college' and Will Point you to the fact that Leuven has the oldest university, not the oldest college. The most harrowing detail I was told about the attack on Leuven was that the charred bits of medieval manuscripts floated miles away into neighbouring cities, and that this is how other Belgian cities Found out about the atrocities that went on. Thank you for sharing the history of Leuven and its townhall with the world.

Was this the first historic European city to have been destroyed "by an act of war"? The debris depicted looks so very similar to the debris left after all of "the great fires" but not like the photos of the German cities bombed by England and the Allies in WW2. Not a plethora of charred buildings and brick rubble but very little timber or roofing materials - not steel or slate shingles. It always appears to be just piles of bricks. Both buildings having 10 windows down the sides, 3 spires on each totaling six with a pitched roof between both sets of spires! I have literally discussed this buildings similarity with the salt lake temple multiple times with people. It truly is one of the most beautiful buildings on earth. Loved the vid. Great video, very interesting story behind this "Town Hall". In that picture you shared @15:05 I'm not sure if it's just because of the way the light is hitting the The Town Hall in the far background, but the bottom portion of the building, looks like the first 12ft from the ground up was recently exposed/excavated. There's a clear contrast between that bottom portion and the rest of the building. If I saw something on a building like that today, I'd think oh maybe they just pressure washed the concrete and that's why it appears bright white the rest of the building is gray/brown. But for an ancient building at at that time, yeah I'm thinking mudflood/reset. Oh and... @16:07, Charlton Heston, is that you!?

This is one of my favorite videos and the one on Germany. Something about the architecture. Those people must have been from the Golden age of humanity. Vs the architecture of the Roman's that architecture is more like the silver age and the pyramids more like the bronze age as far as visual appearance goes. From extravagant to basic you know what I mean 😏 now everything is fake recreations only in appearance. Nothing real anymore not even some people are real they lack substance and soul

For me it physically hurts because it's heartbreaking for these beautiful buildings were distroyed! It's so sad we don't know what our past truly is. Since I found out about mudfloods only this year (and I'm 55!!) I don't believe or respect main stream Anything! I've been interested in anything and everything conspiracy theory since I was very young. I've done tons of research/reading before and after the internet was born. It's so upsetting to me that I've Never heard Anything of this before! As I myself actually wondered how could someone have even build these buildings. I'm from Chicago and just the landmark The Water tower is no way made from horse and buggy men! Just LOOK at this 1 video!! No way could this be true history. This was left behind.

May I suggest that it is useful to point out that it was the oppressive oligarchs in control of Germany at that time and was not Germans acting in German self-interest?

Those are allllll over dc and at the famous Washington DC cathedral the people missing I think it’s symbolizing teleportation as the carving is showing ………….again in dc there’s evidence of this or the builders abruptly stopped building as like I said manyyyyyyy of these buildings have missing people in those teleportation tech devices

I know why they destroyed the library, because giants read giant books so they couldn't have any giant books for people to see and question the narrative as they say 🙄
