A short piece dedicated to the time I spent in the lovely city of Leuven and the incredible experience that Loyola Study Abroad gave me. My hope is that others can see the value of studying abroad for year, the true benefit of immersing yourself in a foreign world and the beauty of Belgium itself.

Kailyn McCourt hello! I’m sorry I’ve missed a lot of these comments everyone but I’m SO happy to hear about everyone deciding to move to Leuven and take part in a study abroad program. It truly changed my life for the better and I would highly recommend doing it for a year! Make sure to go to the quiche guy in the pink truck at the market. ☺️

Hey, I'm going to KU Leuven for 2018 Fall and would like your views (based on experience) on whether it is better to stay within the CBD or on the outskirts of Leuven. Did you find that most undergraduates stayed within Leuven centre or postgraduates. What deciding factors should I take into account when selecting an accomodation? Help will be greatly appreciated!

Maastricht University, Netherlands. Most international University and 99% english speaking. half of the professors and students are from abroad (most of them from germany, belgium, france)

I did not study at the Architecture Faculty but KU as a whole incredible. It’s a great experience. Try looking into KU Facebook groups! :)
