I like how at the second phase The King drops fork and knife and picks sword and sceptre. Sword is a very specific weapon, you know. It is not initially meant for hunting (like spear) or for craftsmanship (like axe). Sword is a weapon meant to be used against another armed human beings - for a warrior to use against another warrior. So by tossing away cutlery and choosing to fight with a sword King Nils kind of recognizes Olle not as a food, but as a worthy challenger, a fellow warrior, maybe even an equal. A very fitting conclusion for Olle's character development.

I'll add that the bramble is in control of the king and it started to see Olle as a threat. So, it decided to take big measures to get rid of this little boy who has the power to destroy it.

I’m sure I’m not the first one to notice, but if look at some of the king’s attacks while Olle is moving, he suddenly moves his attention ahead of him to try and catch him while he runs. It’s very interesting for a boss to do in my opinion

I just got to the final boss today after finding this awesome game and playing for a few hours. I noticed that, too. He'll position the weapon ahead of you. Pretty cool.

This rendition of "hall of the mountain king" is one of the most epic piece ive ever heard in gaming. The artstyle had me from minute one as much as the music, but when this piece hit i got full body chills. Really a brilliant game on a level you dont get that often. Dimfrost Studio is a studio you should look out for. Much like the makers of Ori these people are masters in terms of artstyle. I cant wait for their next game.
