CRAZY RHYTHM
Matrix; 108314=2
ORIGINAL 78? ; PATHE ACTUELLE (US) 36849 ?,
8/10/1928,
*Like DEEP RIVER ORCHESTRA, LEVEE LOUNGERS was created by an American composer named WILLARD ROBISON.
I think it's the band name given to them during a huge amount of recording.
Member details are unknown.

Willard Robison was actually the musical director for Perfect Records in the 1920's. He was also an incredible songwriter in his own right, best known for "A Cottage for Sale" and "Old Folks," though this song isn't one of his. He recorded many sides for Perfect with studio musicians, including one session with Bix Beiderbecke and Frank Trumbauer as "The Chicago Loopers."

Thank you very much for your advice. WILLARD ROBISON's music has a certain nostalgic depth to it, even for that era, and there are many standards that are still played today. I'll look for "The Chicago Loopers" LP.

I would say Jimmy Dorsey plays lead alto sax and clarinet on this. Great!

The singer sounds like the ubiquitous Irving Kaufman.

Thank you for your comment “THE ONLINE DISCOGRAPHICAL PROJECT” (v. Irving Kaufman as Jack Manning) It has been done. However, since I can't even understand English, it's even more believable. Irving Kaufman's name has been removed because I can't find the material. I think this 78 rpm disc is a very mysterious disc. I really appreciate your comment. 😃😃🙏🙏
