more of these please!! love them! would love even more talk through about the functionality of the movements for example the muscles and joints they are working :D
@claire68115 жыл бұрын
just something that ive learnt though, cueing pigeon to someone and advising that they have their shin square with top of mat is not functional because of the anatomy of the way the femur is attached to the pelvis and the difference in attachment angles and tilts in each individual, not everyone can actually get to that point.. :)

Om Namah Shivaya Rama, thanks for the class, the theme was kind of accurate for the current times hey? Crazy world, more than ever...quick question! what's the main difference for you, anatomically, when tucking your extending leg toes in half pigeon? Thank you and stay safe!
@danielrama73804 жыл бұрын
Om Om Natalia, thank you for the comment. Two main things happen when tucking those back toes: 1) more intensity through the back leg hip flexors (it is almost like holding pigeon with a block under the back knee), and 2) it can help to maintain more activation through that back leg, which will help to protect the joints ... practicing this way is neither right or wrong, but it can be nice to experiment with

@sirinath5 жыл бұрын
@@DanielRamaYoga Found it. Instagram may not be the best way to do it as you have sequence through the tutorial. What would be interesting to have is something like this for each asana: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eGLImJt_l5iqjZo Maybe you can add a voice-over for each step.
