How to exit the backrooms: on level 11 find a building that has a purple distortion on the wall. If you touch it, you will noclip to level 3999, which is an infinite arcade. The arcade games appear to be from the 1990s but somehow can run games from real world, like Minecraft or Doom. *Don't play and don't touch the arcades or you will be teleported to another level* . Walk in the north direction. You will find a base with friendly people that will guide to to a glass door. This glass door, once you exit it, will make you appear in the real world in the exact point you noclipped into the backrooms the first time. This is the legit canon exit from the backrooms. Don't worry about time that passed: the backrooms have a time of their own since it is outside of reality, so you won't have aged and you will be doing the same thing you were doing before noclipping. See you in the genocide route.
