Can confirm, blood build on cook is excellent. He almost always spawns near 3 blood bags so you can snag those, feed grandpa, open up the basement, and ping from above for both of your teammates to hunt.

Saw a similar build with the same hearing detection but then the blood build was maxed. Looks like it works great because early game you show the victims for bubba, collect blood while they deal with that, and can quickly gets gramps to max level. They killed everyone and cook didn’t have to attack anyone at all because he’s such a great support unit.

Yeah I think Cook on just full support and not worrying about attacking really would be best. If you can speedrun grandpa to tier 5 then you're cooking. And that helps you ping them also.

As Cook you can ping someone multiple times in a row and it stacks. For example if you ping someone 6 times for 10 seconds each, they'll be pinged for a total of 60 seconds in a row and you can go around and do a whole lot before their aura wears off.

I have a way more difficult time with victims escaping on slaughterhouse. Gas station and Family house is always on lockdown with cook and my buddy on hitchhiker but man do victims give me headaches on slaughterhoh

As a cook main that hasn't actually used anyone else's builds , I can tell you gas station is on lockdown , as a cook your job is to lock that gas station door then lock the 2 entrance gates to the gas station door and focus on defending that side of the map and feeding grandpa while your team gets the survivors on the other side , if they escape on there side thats your teams fault not yours 🤷🏽‍♂️ because i ping the hell out of people during my blood collecting and lock patrols lol

@@halo7901. I feel like the current meta is super locked right now because XP is limited and early builds are popping up. The skill tree is too big to define a certain meta at this point. Survivor rushing as a terrible meta anyway. Hope they just buff characters to make them more fun instead of balancing the game and ruining it.

Very close to my build when I'm not running the blood harvesting build. I rock Serrated, Scout, and Security Pins. I think it catches a lot of victims off guard cause they don't expect you to keep up with them. lol The blood build is powerful, but sucks when they're running agitator and keep stabbing gramps, so this kind of build is more fun.

I prefer a blood collecting build on cook, with Scout, and the one that gives more from buckets, then points into blood harvesting instead, imo cooks better if you just focus on tagging people, checking your locks are still up, and collecting blood, let the young'uns get the kills!

I do think cook is a great blood collector but my problem is good players will rush objectives faster than you can rush grandpa so I run an aggressive blood build with the blood bucket perk, vial-ent and the lower stamina drain while holding over 50% blood, my only issue with it is when the victims are playing slow I have to lose all bonuses to feed gramps. Definitely tempted to try your build to see how it goes.

You get about 40+ blood per collector witha blood build. And you can collect just about 200 blood in total. Leveling up grandpa twice per visit feels really good.

So, if you get family house, i can guarantee CooK/Hitchhiker are the 2 best killers. Hitchhiker Traps Gen, Fusebox, and battery. Cook Locks the 3 house exit doors. Then if your playing cook you proceed to patrol the bottom floor, checking your locks, getting blood ect. Never stop using your ability. A Really good cook can bubba a couple kills at the beginning. I got 8K XP scanning people the entire game

I put the padlock on the rear door then the rear gate so when or if they manage to get out the rear door they got the gate to open lol I normally run over to the car exit and whack a padlock on that as well

usually the best thing for cook IS a blood build, universal doner and the mark on hits is very good on him, possibly with a perk to up his vial size, then dump all points into blood and the rest into stamina, you wont be able to kill anyone, but your marking and grandpa getting to lv5 super quick makes up for it heavily, your team wont need to think in a chase, just follow the marks, stack them so it lasts longer

I have a semi blood build on cook I used to have everything into blood but it got boring so I have enough so I can get 3 buckets to get 100 blood to level grampa and I put the rest in endurance and got pack animal so if I hit one running by my team can come help
