This is the Belgrave Street level crossing at Kempsey, New South Wales. It is located on the North Coast Line which connects Sydney and Brisbane.
The original signals were installed here on December 5, 1974. They were replaced by the current signals some time around 2009, although the original median signal was retained on the eastern side of the crossing.
Both gated signals have Western Cullen Hayes bases, Safetran gate mechanisms, United Group LED lights and Western Cullen Hayes mechanical bells. The bell on the western signal rings from start up until the gates have lowered, while the bell on the eastern signal rings for the entire activation, it is a new bell which was recently installed to replace the previous one which had died.
The eastern median signal has an unmarked base and McKenzie & Holland lights fitted with United Group LED's. The western median signal has a Western Cullen Hayes base and United Group LED lights.
Both pedestrian crossings have Alstom LED lights and Magnetic Autocontrol swing gates
