This is the Robinsons Road level crossing at Langwarrin, Victoria. It is located southeast of Melbourne, on the Stony Point Line which runs from Frankston to Stony Point.
These gated signals were installed on June 18, 2001 and replaced the original gate-less signals which dated back to December 19, 1973. Both signals have unmarked bases, Safetran gate mechanisms, Artcraft gate lights, Westinghouse LED lights and Westinghouse hybrid bells. The eastern signal also has an Artcraft healthy state indicator, the western hybrid bell rings quite fast and actually died during the first activation, although worked normally during subsequent activations.
