This already feels like top tier content Tim! Thanks for putting this out there!

The first thing I opened was the folder that says DO NOT TOUCH. 🤣 As someone who has really only focused on the technical aspect of game dev, I'm excited to watch along and hone my lvl design skills!

@@seankannemeyer1984 If you know anything about Unreal Engine, or general coding.. I've taken sooo many shortcuts. So please pick them apart and let's have some fun 😁

@@seankannemeyer1984 Sometimes, I've set up really nice parent-child structures, with inherited functionality. Then, when making another blueprint as the course material needed it, realised I didn't set things up properly to facilitate what I needed, and went "oh well", copy pasted the whole thing, and just ran everything off of branches. And there's a lot worse stuff in there 🙃

@@timdoesleveldesign I think for the intent and purpose of the course it doesn't matter much! After play around with it for a couple hours last night, i didnt see anything that is absolutely busted. But if I come across something, I'll be sure to let you know!

@@timdoesleveldesign would love to see a series of how you built this and then a video maybe of how you could polish it to make the code better or more modular

Yes please co tinder this series and perhaps talk about how we can expand on this demo to make a full game. Maybe talk a bit about multiplayer replication and build a demo level that showcases how 2 players could be great in a level and how to structure the levels differently and why, for 2 players. I love this series thank you. Will be working off this for my own game idea I've had for some time and didn't know how to start. Thank you!

You could of chosen unity or godot. Unity runs fine on my intel mac from 2015, and laptop from 2013. its ok tho. atleast i have the specs that i can run unreal. just feel bad for those that don't. I still think this will be good tutorial for everyone. I just wish more could follow along.

@aphixe True, but I had limited free time, and it doubled with some UE self-study, so it was the only real option for me at this time 😅
