This only work for taste level. For cookbook level, the higher your cookbook level, you earn lesser from the low star recipes. When your book is higher level, best to make high level recipe with success rate at least 70% and gives you more exp as the ingredients is limited to buy/ have to farm.

And it's a waste of zeny, because you got 8000 exp and the max was only 800 =/..once you reach the max, the "extra" exp wont go to the next lvl, you start the new one with 0 exp.

I think it works this way, for every 10 dish you cook, it levels. So you need to successfully cook 100 pieces of the same dish to reach lvl 10 and unlock the bonus stats. Same with tasting, every 10 pieces of the same dish you eat, it levels 1 pt. So 100 dish to eat to unlock bonus stats.

Hey vergel, just wanna correct you that you only need to cook and eat 100 of the same dish to lvl up to lvl 10 on that particular dish. Eg, you only need to cook and eat 100 rookie meat kebab to get lvl 10 rookie meat kebab cooking and tasting. Hope this helps to reduce the cost for other players. actually u can made just 95 and eat all, then open lvl all 10 in 1 recipe, 1 recipe can open buff 2 kind , like def, mdef, HP,ATK,M.ATK BTW its waste if u buy till triple 9,..

dont use this method,just calculate your remaining exp for gourmet taste and fish steak taste exp(10 exp) ,it saves you a lot of money rather than using this misleading method

Get your shit straight vergel, 999?? you're making them waste money on ingredients.. Levelling tasting from 5-6 costs only 3500 EXP, let's say you cook 100 rookie broth and taste it. that will equal to 1000 tasting EXP. if the EXP Goes over 3500 that will all go to waste unless you level it to 6, which requires you to talk to the NPC. This guy is uploading content just for the sake of uploading it.
