2:20 y'know, with how often Mario usually loses a bunch of his lives as one of the main gags in your videos, it feels kinda cathartic for somebody like Toadette to be there to warn Mario to stop and think things through before running into the danger for once. I enjoy self-aware writing like that.

It was weird to see it referenced in-universe. Like, he just knows that he got multiple lives, and that they respawn him somewhere close by. It's weird to see a meta game mechanic be treated as an actual thing Mario is aware about lol. I mean, he does have the 1UP mushrooms, but still. He just knows that it respawns him? And that he got a number of lives? Lol

Here's how many zombies Mario and Toadette killed (might contain some spoilers): Mario: 51 Toadette: 16 67 zombies killed overall! I counted Mario and Toadette as killing 3 both because underground, they pushed a big block that squashed 3 Zombie Goombas. 1 got defeated by Mario off screen. The Koopa Shell rolling across the ground didn't count as a zombie being killed.
