Genius! My usual go to strategy for "leveling" someone without actually leveling them is to give them items/equipment/abilities that are strong, but have some side effects to keep them grounded so they can't just use them all willy nilly with no repercussions. For example, somebody had the ability to choose a "stance" at the beginning of a fight, making them either super defensive or super offensive. Whichever one they picked, the opposite suffered. So if you went with extra defense, your offense was trash. (Granted, that's me trying to balance that "other" game) But this? I like this. Tasty little morsels of growth/power with limits, and random! And who doesn't like cards.

Nice added content, gives leveling up that little extra oomph. Now about that Star Wars EZD6 hack...where would somebody go to look into that. Or better yet, is anyone working on a sci-fi version of this very good game system.

I'm not sure how I went 5 months without hearing about these. Will check them out for sure. Also, there was mention some time back about doing EZD6 in other genres. I believe horror was mentioned. Anything happening with that?

There is some progress in horror, but post-apoc is nearing completion.

Some of the cards use the word Brazen, is that pretty much interchangeable with pusher and shover or hero character?

Yes, Brazen are my name for Heroes in the EZD6 Book of Quests.

@@theDMsCraftthat’s what I thought. I got cards for my game and I integrated them my own way with some of your other rules as well. I give them their first Edge in addition to regular creation rules. Here’s my progression chart: L1- First Edge L2- Card L3- Inclination L4- Strike L5- Card L6- Inclination L7- Strike L8- Card L9- Inclination L10- Second Edge Characters level pretty much after every session and I’m just going to consider L10 max level for my game for now.

What is the advantage of getting 2 decks?

If you want different players to be able to have the same card as their is only one of each card in the deck....Or if you want to be evil and use cards for villains.
