This unit looks great but I've read that you cant use the steering controls or factory mic. That's a deal breaker for me personally. I also have a amp and aftermarket speakers. Waiting to see if anyone has seen this work after a long period of time as well

installed one on mine today and steering wheel controls stay working like normal, reverse cams stays normal, and mic I made calls to test out and everyone told me it sounds good🤝🏾

You gotta go to the factory settings type in the 126 pin too revert/ invert the up and down buttons on steering wheel

Mine is flipped for volume and switching songs too. Did you figure it out? I just got it like a week ago so maybe I installed it wrong too

this I am not 100% sure on. I didn't connect the one that comes with the unit and I was still able to take calls and they could hear me fine. I will do a follow up in a months time

You cannot. It has a mic on the front of the unit and comes with an external mic as well.
