I run almost all of my LMG's with a bipod. If you're smart and look at your minimap, you can position yourself and end up mowing down a squad in a couple of seconds. Oh and you should just run the M60 with irons for maximum badassery

I used to run the AWS until it was patched and I switched to the RPK. Decided to jump back on the silenced AWS about 4 weeks ago and have been melting face with it! I play china rising map rotation, shanghai and Rogue and avoid Locker. Loving the silenced AWS once again =D

The AWS is by far my favorite LMG. With a bipod you can melt anyone from across the map and without it you are stupid effective at medium and close range. Large magazine size and quick reload. In my opinion it is the best all-around LMG that the game has to offer.

I just stick to the U100 MK5. Heavy barrel, stubby grip, canted iron sights, and ACOG scope. Virtually no recoil at all, bullets dont spread much until you shoot about 12 bullets full auto without stopping. Rate of fire, accuracy, low recoil, best combination ever, doesnt fail at all.

+Alex Pelc The range at which it tries to compete is more preferable for DMRs anyway. It's DPS is so low that you don't really have an advantage over those DMRs, especially since you are less accurate. The long reload with small magazine hurts it even more. Combine that with the fact that most LMGs will do better once bipodded, and you have yourself a gun that is balanced by the model, but doesn't excel beyond it's alternatives.

OnlyNeedJuan Gaming If you don't set your bipod in a good spot, you are an easy target for snipers. Playing with this gun against DMRS ain't that bad the accuracy and low recoil makes it a 4-5 shot gun to drop a dude. Close range is good too, the canted sights help me out a lot and the ACOG allows for pretty good headshots. Gun does feel under welding sometimes, but the reason I don't use anything else is because the accuracy is not that good on all other LMGs. I guess I just prefer laser beams instead of Rambo guns lol

I typically run the 240B or the 249 but do experiment with others. One thing that I haven't ever heard anyone mention is that the QBZ does not play a bipod animation which makes getting in and out of the bipod much faster. It's DPS isn't anything special but it's recoil is good and you can go prone and get crazy accurate faster than any other LMG in the game. It also doesn't seem to glitch as much, when the bipod fails to deploy when it clearly should.

Pretty much my list for the LMGs too. Although, sometimes I like to play round with the bipod on the M249 etc rather than the M240B, I like the bipod in general for LMGs, even in conquest, at least the high capacity ones. But you need to be a bit more sneaky etc....but when you find that perfect spot and rain death upon several guys at pretty extreme ranges it's just awesome xD I agree that the M60 is awesome, it's just a shame that they don't just remove the front sight when using a sight on it or just make it blurry or something so it doesn't obstruct your vision so much.

What? No RPK-12? No QBB-95-1? Both of those have very accurate aim for an LMG and reload very fast due to using magazines instead of belts. I just unlocked the QBB-95-1 and I was murdering people left and right with it. And seeing that the RPK-12 ups it in terms of stability and accuracy, with only a drop in mag size, I am hoping that it will replace my QBB-95-1 once I get it. I like having a machine gun that has a large ammo cap yet can contend with assault rifles. And so far, the QBB-95-1 is doing great for me at that task. And I love running support because of infinite ammo.

+tim stack bipeds are really only good on lockers in a few spots. Level was suggesting that you should run and gun with the angled grip on the M60, but I find it terrible because of the spread, even with a stubby grip and heavy barrel. The 240 doesn't feel as bad, plus it kills way faster and still has manageable enough recoil to use with a stubby grip/heavy barrel setup.

If you don't have the RPK, U-100 MKS is the closest choice, arguably even better but I haven't used RPK to judge. U-100 MKS has bipod stability without the bipod. I use it to take out helicopter pilots with a FLIR sight. I stopped using it against infantry because I thought it wasn't fair, unless I'm losing because of imbalanced teams.

M249/mg4 for closer maps. Type 88 or qbb 95 for longer range maps. m240b for anything.

M60E 3.5x scope, compensator and bipod. No burst fire, just hold the trigger down and empty it on troops. Long range

I love how underrated the bipod is. I've pissed of this one dude by hunkering down on the prison map and just aiming down the map at the other exit. He just kept coming at me without trying any other alternative. I've also done really well with bipeds. Dunno why people don't like bipods.

Bipods can be decent in BF4 but since the movement is crazy jerky it's way harder to use them effectively at range like you could in BF3.

I like using something unexpected, like for example RPK with Lazer and Bipod. I find that I am more accurate with Bipod than any grip out there

I like the QBB-95-1. Very stable gun and still hold 75 in the mag. The stats are the best on this gun.

The best weapon that I use is the as val with a silencer but just letting you know the clip has low ammo so conserve your ammo

M60 is love. M60 is life. I run a 3.4x scope instead of a RDS. it's placed higher up and you don't see the front sight post with it

RPK is my choice for a jack of all trades sort of role. You can hop into any conquest large game with it and be effective in almost all scenarios. Obviously some situations are going to favour it more than others but I think its quite well rounded.

I'll disagree to that, U-100 MK5 (to me at least) feels like it out guns the RPK when it comes to overall accuracy. Though the RPK is still pretty good

LMG always my favorite on most games. AWS by far my favorite bf4 gun of all but i do like the M249 on certain maps for suppression and for constant fire while slowly slicing the pie on maps like locker especially if i have teamates that will push with me and or utilize my suppressions to gain positions and also when im defending a hotspot if i dont have much help

am i the only one in love with the u-100mk5? idk what it is but i love the feel. Little recoil, bullet spread is good with burst fire, clip is small but quick to reload.
