Angie has helped so many of us! She is so selfless. She goes to great lengths to help those of us whose lives have been destroyed by these drugs. Where would we be if not for All of you, in addition to Angie, who have helped us survive this? Probably Nowhere. Or Very Possibly Dead. Because this situation is That Serious. Thank you immensely, Angie! We All deserved better than what we got, didn't we? We thank All of you that have been there for us, when Medicine, collectively, has FAILED us. MISERABLY. I am a victim, too. Because I made the big mistake of trusting them, like all of us. I was permanently disfigured, severe damage to both of my hands(Severe Bilateral Carpal Tunnel Syndrome), in addition to All The Other Horrors. Sue them All. ALL OF THEM.

I worked in a house as a live in super. I used to always appease people, people please and calm people down and be mostly polite. There were things missing in my life but I had like patience with it. Once I stopped Lexapro, I got this urge to immediately solve all problems by being like agitated and rude to people. Something about how I was speaking, the tone of voice, and the pushy language and also insulating people openly thinking it’s a great way to make a point. All my life crumbled away. How do I build a new career and network that took my whole life to build? Nobody told me I could lose my job and reputation and hurt people when stopping it. My social intuition was gone! Won’t scared all the time was my state. Acute stress and being easily upset is how I would describe it. Having no patience. Being frustrated. Exactly - not having emotions needed to process what’s happening around you. Intuition gone. Just being scared and empty and easily agitated and angry. Easily hostile to people.

Hi Jezel and Angie…great team to help us who are suffering immensely and today from everything (benzos, gut, TCs, blah blah. Really having a terrible time today but therapy tonite..I always appreciate and am grateful for you. I can’t go on forums. Too triggered doing this helps me do much more. ❤❤❤❤

Hello, tell me, in your practice, do you often have serotonin syndrome in patients? and how to avoid serotonin syndrome when taking SSRIs? What dosages will prevent serotonin syndrome?

Thanks for this video. I'm very interested in how you healed your gut bacteria. I heard supplements can help with deficiency and mental health. The gut and mental health are connected yes? Does taking probiotic and prebiotic help heal? I'm getting bloodwork done tomorrow.

Yes, both pre and probiotics are great for gut health. Depending on what is wrong with the gut will differentiate your treatment plan, but overall per and probitics are foundational. I talk about the gut brain connection in this video if you're interested kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6G4emOEn6aMf80

I do not have experience with this medication. I believe it is used for severe nausea and vomiting. Perhaps off label for psychiatric use? Are you in the U.S.?

Do y'all know anything about neurotoxicity? My doctor did this to me 🥺 how is giving diazepam as a part of an MS protocol ( l don't have ms, I have extreme muscle rigidity) I had no idea and what this was going to do to me.. in January I was in his office, I had told them I'm suffering from malnutrition malabsorption. I don't feel well. I thought I was getting sick.. long story short nurse said oh sounds like protracted withdrawal.. and I said no ,that's not possible I'm taking it like I'm supposed to I think it's too much, in the doctor said oh just cut it in half 🤬 well that was the beginning of my end.. I had no idea what was happening to me.. I called him for help and he never called me back.. just saw him this Thursday he said why did you wait so long to call me about this? And I told him I had no idea what was going on with me..

They have recently termed the issues with long-term benzodiazepine use as benzodiazepine-induced neurological dysfunction, which recognizes that it is a type of neurotoxicity or neuroinflammation that is happening in the brain and body. It is unfortunate that this happens and when it does you should taper off very slowly. A rapid taper can also induce such a state.

Hello, I would like to ask you in your opinion about the best antidepressant medication from the SSRI group or another to treat severe obsessive-compulsive disorder accompanied by anxiety and insomnia, and what is the best antipsychotic medication to help control symptoms in the event that SSRIs are not sufficient. It is hard to say which is the best, as what you can tolerate may be different than what the studies say, so keep that in mind. Also be mindful of all the risks and side effects of these medications. Fluvoxamine has most research on OCD, it also helps with anxiety and insomnia. Clomipramine is a tricyclic antidepressant for OCD that will also help with anxiety and sleep, but many side effects. I wouldn't give an antipsychotic for OCD as there are reports of worsening OCD symptoms and compulsions on them. Before going to medications look for root causes. With OCD it can be a bacteria called HPHPA in the gut, which can be detected with an OATS test. It could also be toxins, mold, Lyme disease, or even nutrient deficiencies, etc.

Hello, I am a 33-year-old young man who suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder and bouts of anxiety and extreme tension most of the time. The disease began in adolescence and I lived with it until I suffered a shock a few years ago that made me lose control. Semi-psychotic symptoms, intense fear of everything, obsession, panic, and inability to sleep. I went to a psychiatrist and he diagnosed me with a psychotic attack and chronic obsessive-compulsive disorder. In short, SSRIS prescribed me to try each medication for four to five months while monitoring the condition. Paoxetine, fluoxetine, sertraline, fluvoxamine, with a small dose of olanzapine, to no avail. I tried clomipramine for only two days. Reason: Dry mouth and eyes and drowsiness. I tried Risperidone instead of Olanzapine. It caused me anxiety. I am now depressed, very very anxious. I sleep during the day and wake up at night with severe obsession with insects and I imagine them entering the nose and reaching the brain. It caused me wounds and ulcers from frequently washing my nose internally throughout the night, and the fear of not sleeping. At night, it may cause me to go crazy or lose control of my mind, and fear that I will harm others. I ask for your evaluation and diagnosis of my condition and your advice to me and the appropriate medications in your opinion. The story here isn’t so familiar to me cos I live in U.K. and over here we aren’t allowed to advertise medications on tv, like they are across the pond. So in that respect these meds aren’t as glamourised. The obvious problem with constantly advertising depression and psychosis medications on commercials is it might tempt people to seek them out that don’t need them. I’m on a few different meds and I’m not concerned with the issues talked about here because nobody should need telling that been on 18 different psych meds will cause problems. That’s the source of the problem, not necessarily the drugs themselves. I’ve also had cognitive behavioural therapy for my OCD and delusions every week for several months before trying medication and it didn’t work at all.

I'm glad you found something that is working for you. Though Angie's story is one of harm via poly pharmacy, there are many patients out there who get harmed by only taking 1, so that is still a risk that is good to know.

@@LevelheadedMind Thankyou. It helps but I’d agree with you that it’s certainly not a magic bullet. It just trims the edges. If a person is on a single drug or maybe a few, like an antidepressant or a benzo, they are usually fine as long as they apply a very slow tapering process. And it’s important to do your own online research since, sometimes medical specialists want to taper down too quickly or abruptly and a patient needs to oppose them and insist it’s done over a long period to avoid withdrawal syndromes
