You’ll gain weight in that medication. And I mean a lot of weight. In a week’s time, you’ll gain 30 Lbs. because it has happened to me before.

Is it okay to take fluoxetine 40 mg in the morning and 40 mg at night instead of taking 80 mg in the morning for OCD?
@LevelheadedMind16 сағат бұрын
Fluoxetine has a long half and is not usually taken twice a day. This dosing will also disrupt steady serum concentrations which can make it less effective. It would be best to discuss with your doctor the reason why you want to split the dose and see if there are other alternatives.
@Mikesusendsadasdc17 сағат бұрын
I been using it for a Antidepressan for over year at this point. I don't see why they say you need such a high dose for the anti depressing effects. Cause even the 100mg makes my depression better. Tho I usally take it then take a small nap and go on with my day. I take it around 2am and go back to sleep and when I wake up at 6am its working already and Im good to go.

Very informative video and it actually explained some symptoms i have that i didn't know could be related to the seroquel. For example i have high blood pressure and last summer i was admitted to the ICU twice with a hypertensive crisis. The hospitalist thought i might have a kidney issue, so i had to get a kidney workup. No kidney issues, and no closer to an answer as to what is causing the hypertensive issues. Also, despite my high blood pressure sometimes i get the orthostatic hypotension also. I am 39 years old!
@Rhanyra3 күн бұрын
Ive been on Seroquel for 9 years now. Other than insomnia i am really not sure what it does to help with any other symptoms. That being said, i really do enjoy the fantastic sleep i get while on it. I CAN sleep without it, but it takes forever to fall asleep and i usually wake up often.

It is addicting. I have been tapering from 25 mg for many months. I am at 1.74 mg and it still giving me withdrawal symptoms like burning skin, terrible joint pain, headache and this feeling like my brains is being disconnected from the body and fatigue! I never had experiences like this before, I am person who usually doesn’t even suffer from headaches. I want to warn people, all these meds are addictive. Seroquel is quite dengerous for metabolic health, google law suits.

I been on it for 16 years. Tappered off from 5 mg to 2.5mg within 5 months. Highest was 10 mg for a few months. Now need to go from 2.5 to 0. Just let me get my fine scale. Tapering off works. Just like 2% weekly or something small like that. Cutting it is awful. As for weight gain yes I weigh like 255. Half way in shape. But I also was 220 on it lean musclular when I was heavy into martial arts training.

Never just stop taking your meds and don't skip days. If you do it may not work like it should. Listen to your doctor ALWAYS. Don't watch a video on KZbin and just stop taking it. Talk to your doctor first. I've never heard this before. A medication holiday? No. Don't stop taking meds....😢 4:11

Methylphenidate is a way to consume a substance in a controlled way in co-operation with a healthcare provider. If you don´t have that combination or can´t afford that the risk of uncontrolled substance use in increased in people with ADHD. I don´t care about the "right or wrong" conversation at all. I´m mostly concerned with how a person economic position is related to the help they´ll be able to afford in the healthcare system.
